  • went to the doc tryin to get ambien and the dude gave me this shit 100mg. ill give it a month or so and tell that dude it aint workin at all i need a switch up haha wish me luck!

  • Anyone telling you not to take a medication because its "addicting" is a fool. I've take about every possible medication on the market for insomnia & depression and can say for someone who has came out of withdrawls (tapering my medication to a lower dosage after a long usage) that its only natural. Willpower is the only thing that's going to help you. If you keep a negative mindset 24/7 and don't want to help yourself then you're asking to be institutionalized

  • are the like xanax the good feeling i have trazodone but want them to feel like xanax

  • @TheValerie000 na ur lookin for ambien, klonopin, valium. shit like that trazodone wont make u feel like ur on candybars haha sorry bro not now not never

  • I hate dis medication Why? cuse it made me sleep all evening. But my doctor told me to start taking it at night. At 1st I was takin it in the evening. Also I would be sleeping all day. No matter where I was my family was so scared. They was very concerned & thought something was wrong with me.

  • don't let them lie to you. i just took 50 mg and i'm feelin pretty gooooodd

  • this is one nasty medicine to try to get off of. some say its not addicting but it sure can be. i know because i am there right now, in a living hell on earth, wondering if i am going to survive, and sometimes thinking death would be better than the withdrawals. my advice is DONT EVER TAKE THIS CRAP!

  • SUICIDE is a side effect.

  • @luislazy When my mom died, they gave me 15 mg Temazepam, which works if you only take it for 3 or 4 days. Rotating drugs works best- 3-4 days Temazepam or some other benzo, 3-4 Trazodone, ect. Although, long term drug treatment of insomnia doesn't work. Try wearing yourself out with exercise. Also, try to figure out the cause of your sleep problems. Since I've been on meds for high blood pressure, I sleep better. I take 5 mg Amlodipine at night which mellows me out and helps me sleep.

  • I've tried trazodone for sleep and been disappointed. For occasional insomnia, I prefer benzos.

  • @thepsychopimp ive been on trazodone for a week..

at first 50 mg worked for 4 days then i went upo to 100 that worked for 2 days then 250 that worked..however last night i took 250 mg before bed..didnt work so i got out of bed at about 6 30 am and took two more which equals 350 mg..didnt work at first it was a wonder drug..now im back to sqaure 1 im angry because i thought my sleepin problems had been resolved..any suggestions?? new med perjaps??

  • @luislazy Taking it with certain foods can help, like fruits, veggies, or nuts. It also helps not to eat too much sugar or foods that turn to sugar throughout the day. None of my meds worked right until I watched everything I ate. Antidepressants can mess with your sugar levels.

  • a nasty side effect to be aware of if you're a man and take a high dose of trazodone (>50mg) is long (hours) erections (priapism), especially during sleep, this is not normal and is a dangerous condition, unfortunately doctors rarely warn patients about that, it's easy to misinterpret this condition for morning wood and after a while you end up with erectile problems on top of everything :(

  • Trazodone gives u a nice trip

  • Very good alternative for addicting benzodiazepines. But don't stop benzodiazepines AND substitute with trazodone. Ask doctors first or look it up.

  • @TrackdownNWO Trazodone has a nasty withdrawl if you take it for a long time and then try to stop. Doctors might try to tell you that it doesn't but they are wrong.

  • @SodaWaterification You're right, but it depends on a lot: The person, the dose, or how long like you said , and other CNS - influencing medications or other stuff one uses on it.(like alcohol or marijuana - seen that as well) I used it when I was lacking sleep in a low dose as possible for VERY short periods like 1 day or so. So it works as a sleeping aid. Though it's an ssri it's activating in higer doses. It's all depending. I don't defend it. But it's less worse as well... you name it.

  • @SodaWaterification I also have to say that the metabolite is building up, assuming you want to mean that ? It's a hard time for people to get off it if they used too much for their systems. And you're very right. Doctors usually don't inform too much about medications and are too fast busy prescribing. It's old imo as an ssri (because usually it has to be taken in in too high doses) and good for 1 or 2 times in a VERY VERY little dose for sleep. And leave it in the casket. I hope you understand

  • @TrackdownNWO My doctor originally had me taking 250 mls a night, but I lowered it myself to 150 because that was way too much. She told me I could take it as long as I need it and then stop whenever I don't need it anymore. That was a complete lie.

  • @SodaWaterification Your doctor is a dumb person. But anyway... I always watch out with these things. There is enough internet information BEFORE you swallow. And not start crying after it and try to slay money out of it. Anyway I don't tell you do so but there is also Trazodone EXTENDED release. There are other medications. No offense intended !!!!!
