Please dont mis-read my original post. In my opinion, Clemson is definitely improving. They had a very good game last year vs BC, minus a few mistakes. Death Valley was rocking and the players were feeding off it it. You guys rode that momentum, even though it was a loss (BC), into the SC game.

The ACC is the hardest conference out there. South Carolina couldn't even beat vandy this year! Its sad that Clemson had 3 players with over 100 yards a piece and almost 500 yards of offense, but only managed to score 1 offensive TD against a team that they say sucked so badly. You're right, it is sad that Clemson only scored 1 TD with so much offense. Inspite of bad coaching, we still won. Clemson also gave you some breaks like harpers interc. on the two. Please dont mis-read my original post. In my opinion, Clemson is definitely improving. They had a very good game last year vs BC, minus a few mistakes. Death Valley was rocking and the players were feeding off it it. You guys rode that momentum, even though it was a loss (BC), into the SC game.
Just dont downgrade your own wins. And for the record, USC hasnt lost to Kentucky in years, so your bowl loss to them really shook the bottle.

The ACC is the hardest conference out there. South Carolina couldn't even beat vandy this year! South Carolina will never win the SEC. 1 reason why is, because they dont have alot of good players. they were ranked 30th this year in recruiting! 30th! Clemson was ranked...#2. Clemson is going to be really good for years, because they have an awesome recruiting program.

And yes, we lost to vandy. But if i remember duke's last acc win was against clemson in '04. stuff like that happens. but please don't talk about the acc. It's terrible. Clemson's best win last year was against us, an average 6-6 team. That doesn't speak well of the acc.

The only reason South Carolina got a good class last year was because it was one of steve spurrier's 1st year as the coach and everyone thought he would do good and take South Carolina places. But now everyone knows he can't even beat vandy. so Honeymoon is over for steve spurrier, he is going to have to try harder if he wants to come close to winning the SEC.

if you don't appreciate steve spurrier than maybe you need to stay in the kitchen and keep your mouth shut. He's one of the best coaches in the country. The problem with many gamecock fans is they expect immediate results. spurrier needs time to rid our program of the lou holtz era. And tommy bowden is a sorry coach. I'll admit he can recruit, but he doesn't know football. Vic koenning is an excellent defensive coordinator, and rob spence is better than clemson fans give him credit for.

He has had coaching offers from Miami, Alabama, and LSU would have offered if Les Miles would have left. I just don't understand the comment you made. Its sad that Clemson had 3 players with over 100 yards a piece and almost 500 yards of offense, but only managed to score 1 offensive TD against a team that they say sucked so badly. USC scored not 1, not 2, but 3 td's against one of the best defenses in the nation. Neither Davis, Spiller ("The two best running backs in the ACC)", or Kelly had any td's. The only way you won that game was because of the turnovers and the 10 points that USC spotted Clemson to start the game!

You're right, it is sad that Clemson only scored 1 TD with so much offense. Inspite of bad coaching, we still won. Clemson also gave you some breaks like harpers interc. on the two. That would've been 24-7. Gamecocks are whiners and excuse makers. If you're better, you wouldn't have made the mistakes.

Yeah, Clemson should have won that game 35-7 or even worse, but through their incompetence they managed to make it an ugly mistake fest along with my bumbling Gamecocks. I won't concede that Clemson spotted USC any points nor that they earned their first TD. The bottom line is that both teams stunk to high heaven and Clemson was lucky to walk away with their win.
