As with everything else there are 2 sides to the SHS studies..most ppl dont care enough to actually look but there are many studies that show SHS to be harmless but them studies were thrown out .. but even all that aside .. Fatty foods in general, alcohol, non-fuel efficient cars, various types of products deemed "un-healthy" by some group of people no one seems to really know... all these things and more will come into focus as targets for revenue now that they found it so easy and so publicly acceptable to over-tax tobacco. In which demographic are you speaking? Cancer is the forth leading cause among black males and third for white males for example. HIV, homicide and accidents beat out cancer in both groups. Also, "cancer" as an overall cause for all people between 25 and 64 includes all causes of cancer, not only those caused by smoking and those statistics are still surprisingly close to other, non-cancer causes. Yes, the level of stupidity on YouTube astounds me as well.

Those statistics include all causes contained in that group, and yes, homicide and accidents are of course included in the statistics concerning "premature death" because they are in fact causes.

The numbers simply are not there in all groups. Combining all groups and all causes gives you statistics that state it is equal to, or below other causes.
