I'm trained to care for sick & injured animals. Sometimes I have to put them down. There are rules. Usually its with barbiturates by a vet. When its too urgent or too far BY LAW I have to do it. For smaller animals it's a swift blow to the head, instant unconsciousness, then cervical dislocation (break the neck). I hate it - every time is as difficult as the first. They don't suffer. That dog suffered! He could've shot it & I would defend him; but what he did is indefensible. What an evil prick!

I'm trained to care for sick & injured animals. Sometimes I have to put them down. There are rules. Usually its with barbiturates by a vet. When its too urgent or too far BY LAW I have to do it. For smaller animals it's a swift blow to the head, instant unconsciousness, then cervical dislocation (break the neck). I hate it - every time is as difficult as the first. They don't suffer. That dog suffered! He could've shot it & I would defend him; but what he did is indefensible. What an evil prick!

@kenwithaK the friend was just there. This isn't the playground where the teacher picks everyone involved. To be honest, he wasn't named on purpose and has been dealt with. The activists WERE going to do something, but Mortari's superiors apologised in advanced and dealt with him themselves.
