  • Man does Google Android sucks. Unstable.

  • @orion4063 apple fanboy

  • Fake! Or show me the Androidversion in Settings!

  • I really really want this to be real. But since this is vanilla android and because it's not completely identical (and I mean completely – down to the Roboto font and the icon set) I'm gonna have to call fake. Though this is an awesome attempt and you get my thumbs up.

  • @ssamani24 no its just a custom rom he flashed onto his phone, its not fake, but you're right, its not an official release.

  • @MrImmortalCombat

I would disagree about that, it´s not just some cheap plastic :P ...take a look at this video review: youtube.com/watch?v=elKxgsrJFhw

  • will this work with my toaster?

  • does ics have wifi hotspot

  • will this work on my htc evo 3d

  • show face unlock!

  • the question is...

    will it blend??

  • @ibbz plus, Apple iPhone is losing to android, that's why iPhone is available to all carriers in the u.s. (except t-mobile) to get back in the competition.

  • @ibbz what? Where are u getting this information of mac winning? Their stock price was $200 behind at that time. Now they are $150 cuz Microsoft actually gives %20 share to schools. Unlike Apple.....(4%)

  • No, you guys are morons. You can download a sdk/apk online and interact with ICS on your computer. And if your smart enough, you can transfer it using command prompt to your cell phone. Its glitchy and not the same. But, its possible. Just look at his notification bar, theres no theme or app that changes that. I did this myself, didn't care for it. The closest "theme" is ICL LAUNCHER from team syndicate. Download it. Not even close to this video.

  • I was one of the few people to think this leak was real! Glad it was even tho it must've been a slightly earlier build.

  • Lol this is probably the reason that the galaxy nexus is running 4.0.1 !!!

  • Ya'll sayin this ain't ICS are a bunch of fools. Just dissin a lucky leak. Too bad they had to be idiots and blurt it out before gettin a dump. Tsk tsk tsk, didn't your mother teach you to take advantage of great opportunities?

  • @cityflashinglights I think you are the one who is a moron. Have you ever seen a rooted phone, its called a rom and a theme, doesnt mean its ICS.

  • Even though Web OS is now dead, I would still take its ease of use, simplicity, ability to do true multi tasking, amazing card system, and amazing notification system over anything Android or Apple has to offer.

Crying shame HP decided to take a giant shit on Web OS.

  • how can i get this on my htc thunderbolt

  • err the fact that the whole concept is a rip off of iOS. anyway, this reminds me of the Mac vs Windows days, the Mac won that and was always ahead, same here.

Good luck with your geek machine

  • @ibbz wait? so iphone had notification bars that slide before android? iphone can have a UI to the users liking? iphones get updated every so often instead of once a year? and notice im saying iphone not iOS... thats because only one type of phone has iOS and thats iPhone... even people are trying to put android on iphone because iOS is not cool.. how many android devices can i name? nexus 1, nexus s, HTC evo, HTC thunderbolt, Mytouch, Huawei ascend, Samsung epic... hell theres so many ima stop

  • @ibbz stop trolling

  • This must be a very early build of the software. There are quite a few differences between this and the version of ICS shown at the presentation in Hong Kong.

  • MOTHERFUCKER

    I WANT IT

  • Any idea if samsung epic 4g will get this?

  • @FreshPrinceJunkie Did that phone even get a working Gingerbread build yet? I remember they released it then quickly pulled it... Updates on that phone have been a mess for Samsung. They're probably eager to drop support and the major changes in ICS gives them that out. Sorry, but I don't think the original Epic 4G will get it.

  • @SmartKeitai

Yeah It will most certainly not get ICS, Sprint's plan is to roll out the promised GB update in the next few weeks (supposedly there are network related delays) then the phone is going EOL (end of life). So much for the Epic 4g...

  • @SmartKeitai hey will it work for the samsung galaxy s2

  • @SmartKeitai epic 4g has gingerbread update already search it up bro

  • @bxkid119 Ha, already? You make it sound like it's been out for months... Epic FINALLY got gingerbread this past week. ;)

Good they finally released it, but way overdue. It was supposed to be out months ago.

  • @SmartKeitai Will ICS work on the Sony Ercisson Xperia Play?

  • @SmartKeitai hey will this be for the lg esteem ?

  • @FreshPrinceJunkie Use Cyanogen Mod. Don't rely on the manufacturer for updates. They're either too slow to release them or don't release them at all.

  • Comment removed

  • @FreshPrinceJunkie good luck with samsung phones. They have a tendency to ignore customer requests. If there is no word, then samsung will not release one no matter who complain. Thats what happen to Galaxy I

  • @FreshPrinceJunkie yes it will by cyanogenmod rom 9

  • @FreshPrinceJunkie check on xda-developers just google it.

  • apple better watch out. their iphones are so repetitive. Google Android<3

  • so when is it going to be released and how we get it? looks awesome

  • **i mean get android 4.0 ice cream sandwich before htc

  • the nexus s will get this phone before any htc phone will i believe, so the nexus s and the galaxy phones should get it first

  • @XxAlex1xX1 Just because this device is built by samsung and has ICS, doesnt mean the SG phones are getting it any faster, they likely wont until after january or febuary. The Nexus S and Nexus One are first in line.

  • how does someone get ICS running, on a phone before it's released.... and not know how to unlock the phone within the first 5 seconds? Boggles me.

  • 31 people still believe its fake!! and 1 top comments can't accept the fact... and there you have it... on you face! XD

  • Tight shit.whered u get this rom

  • what a load of shyt. Android will always be playing catch up and disguising a clunky OS with bells whistles and all that crap. Bollocks

  • @ibbz ??

  • @CityFlashLights what? you want me to say that Android is a confusing, messy over done pile of tripe? That all it is and ever will be is a mockery and poor rip off of iOS? Well I've said it!

  • @ibbz How is it a copy of iOS if apple is the one that took alot of the features of 5 from android.

  • pretty frickin badass that this turned out to be legit!! What a lucky guy!!

  • is this phone coming out 4 tmobile????

  • @eddylinares07 The nexus S has been available for a year......

  • The real deal!

  • Hey, can you send the init.rc from it to me? I need it to get Android 4.0 to work on JetDroid and I can not find any ICS init.rc :/

  • @CarlosJacksonHD go to android.com, you can get the full rom there

  • @CityFlashLights OK, Thanks... I have 2 ROM dumps and init files but I need the boot file: zImage anymore... :)

  • @SmartKeitai like i said lets see the settings screen, and prove it real

  • @spazoid2121 Why is it so necessary to see the settings screen? you can clearly see that it is ICS and not a launcher.. look at the lockscreen and the status bar.....ALSO ICS has ALREADY been released..

  • @spazoid2121 This was the 1stt video leak of ICS, regardless of device. Look at the post date. The features shown weren't even known when it was leaked. After the Google event yesterday it's clear this is real. What else could it be lol. Only a psychic would be able to create a fake that far in advance. The settings screen is out there, but that's a non-issue. Google already confirmed Nexus S will get the update anyway. There's no reason to be skeptical. I refuse to reply about this any further.

  • @SmartKeitai lets see the settings screen, then i will shuttup

  • Man I can't wait for my Nexus s to get ics!

  • Yup, this turned out to be the real deal. I don't think this video did the new features justice, but I hope those who called this fake for the past three weeks will be a bit more open minded next time there's a leak like this... Peace.

  • Lets see the settings screen first before everyone makes the assumption that this is that. I high doubt that this is in fact ICS, considering it has not been made into any rooted roms as of today

  • @spazoid2121 Did you not see the Galaxy Nexus announcement yesterday? This is the real deal. The reason the ROM dump didn't show up on XDA or other forums is because Google remotely wiped the device after it made the news. That being said, it's an earlier version because some of the transitional animations are different. But you can clearly see all the new features (folders, task switcher, widgets/apps menus, notification shade, camera, lockscreen, etc). What more do you want? lol.

  • @spazoid2121 You my friend...are retarded...

  • that lock screens straight bitten off of webos

  • Gingerbread and now this ice cream?

  • Will these features run on my evo 3d?

  • @Bmonkey3232 The EVO 3D can easily run Android 4.0, it's just a question of if and when HTC wants to update it through Sprint. I think they will, but it may take 2-3 months since they have to add in their customizations. They sounded a little hesitant in their official statement saying they had to evaluate the update for their lineup, however, I think the EVO 3D will be covered because it's one of Sprint's flagship phones.

  • Can you please see inside the settings >, launges and se if the added new languages. The specially if they added arabic. The thx

  • So the Droid X won't be getting this?

  • IPhone 4s is already a thing I the past

  • does ICS enable the Nexus S to take 720p video now?

  • Now, the most important thing.

How do I make a I call on this cell?

  • Ice cream sandwitch and google nexus prime comming in november!!!

  • @kalle3181 they came today...

  • Look here to get it

  • can't wait for the nexus s update...... :)

  • @robsirobsi12345 me too.. did you know when we`ll get the new update:D i am wait too..

and maybe you got some iformation about this new operating system so maybe you can share me that whats new on this new operating system except as i see the menu.. ?thnx

  • @Sweetybboy

as far as i know, it should handle scrollabel widgets (thats the most important feature for me - i'm actually using a seperate launcher to get this done)

here a list of all improvements made in ics: im not able to post the link, however, just search for news android 4 - i've found the updates to ics all on techradar...

  • While it seems to be real based on today's unveiling, it also looks as if its an earlier build than what was announced. The notification bar and the dock extremely different. Regardless, this was a cool story/video, and I'm really pumped to get my hands on ICS!

  • will my droid bionic get it?

  • So not available for echo?

  • So we now know this was 100% real. Why else would the device been remotely wiped? Ice Cream Sandwich is both sweet and beautiful.

  • I can't believe this was real haha

  • I couldn't make it through this video, I hate the silence.

  • This is fugly. The new blue theme screams of tacky and cheap.

  • is this a new update?

  • @KiLLeRxxBuNNy Yes, it will be officially unveiled on the 19th in Hong Kong (18th in US due to time difference). However, look at the newer video in the video response section. That shows what seems to be an updated version of Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich running on the unreleased Galaxy Nexus smartphone.

  • @SmartKeitai is this for all android phone? and when it will be release in europe?

  • @KiLLeRxxBuNNy Not every phone. Google's Nexus devices will get it first, then other high-end phones will probably get it a couple months later. If your phone came out recently and has high-end specs, there's a good chance you'll get it. If not, then you could always root and load a custom ROM that has it (when developers get a hold of it). That takes some advanced knowledge though.

  • @SmartKeitai i have htc incredible s. Will it have?

  • @KiLLeRxxBuNNy It could probably run it, but I'm thinking HTC won't upgrade it because it launched with Froyo and already got an update to Gingerbread. They're likely only thinking about the Sensation and other dual-core phones they launched this year. You never know though.

  • @KiLLeRxxBunny how about HTC Sensation 4g will it get update ???

  • Comment removed

  • @SmartKeitai HTC seem quite good with it, to be fair. Their Desire shipped with 2.1 and that's been upgraded to 2.4.

  • @SmartKeitai how do i get this update for my nexus s?

  • can you plz help me out with a problem i have its my only video plz look

  • Does it have a feature similar to Siri?

  • 0:12 & 0:14 it seems like you've never get a smartphone in your hand -.-'

  • @SmartKeitai *October 19th* Cancelled 11th by Google/Samsung because of Steve Jobs' death. Will be now held with AllThingsD in Hong Kong which is great because im in the same time zone as China :)

  • @dltndnja This was an older build of ICS running on an old Nexus S. Check out the video in the video response section to see a newer build running on the Galaxy Nexus (Nexus Prime). Looks better imo.

  • @SmartKeitai oh OK. I just watched it. Its definitely much better. Hope it doesnt have the hiccups that honeycomb right now has.. for honeycomb, after running a lot of tasks, and press home screen, everything becomes laggy for a few seconds. There are other lags also on honeycomb of course..Honeycomb is pretty smooth when using it for a short time, but as you keep using it, you'll definitely see occasional lags..I mean lag, as slow down & choppiness..
