@texasrocker01 The only downfall of the rifle is the cost to shoot. I have changed the rifle a good bit and I guess one day I will get around to making a video of what i did to mine. I am also getting into reloading to somewhat make the cost of shooting it more affordable.
Cool gun!!! I like the unedited part, shows everything we go through when making a vid. Few pointers if I may: 1. always exercise muzzle control (never point your gun at your feet), 2. where is the target? Good work. Check out my M1A standard first time shooting vid, 100 yds and 200 yds.
might make the perfect texas hunting rifle. you've got fast firepower at brush ranges from point blank out to 50 and a fast swinging barrel, and can still go pretty long with the .308 round, although 16" vs 22" bbl starts to show if you went really far out. I'd love one of these. Do you use 10 or 20 round mags?
I have 20 rnds and a few 30rnds. I have found 25 rnd mags made by checkmate industries. They make the 20 rnds for the military I have not had the money to get some yet
since I made the video, I changed the stock to a vltor , added a eotech 552xr308 and a folding vert grip. I still need a bi pod and i want the eotech magnifier as well, maybe a tact. light too. also I know were to get 25 rd mags since 30 are hard to find.
Nice! Can't never have enough toys! What was your thoughts on this gun?

Nice, good to see some left handed shooters out there.
How did the ergonomics feel? Was it easy to use for a left handed shooter?

Those M1A rifles are fine pieces of equipment! I have shot my friends M1A Socom and it was amazing. I think I may grab an M1A Scout Squad myself.
