I know you dont have the 97 anymore. But I should come over to your house and smack you for not having headers on a car with a 3.2 pulley. I bet that thing was knocking like a mofo when you got into boost.

I love the older GTPs better. The interior of the COMP G is better but thats it. I had dreams of owning these 3 lol. =] so glad you can experience it. Which one is the daily driver and which one is the weekend warrior.

I no longer have the 97 but i do miss it. The G6 is my girlfriends and she loves it once the warranty is up we are getting exhaust intake and a tune. Im about done the the Comp G done as much as i can and working on getting a G8 gt in the spring. Thanks for checking out my video.

those gtp are badass, even the old one. today, the only stock v6 sedans that got anything on them is the new taurus sho. not bad, for a powerplant that originated 25 years ago

i like the 97 gtp more the newer ones are made off cheap plastic interiors. Plus the newer models are of less quality.97-2003 are the best years. After that it goes down hill.

97 dtp man all the way... i have a 2000 granprix not super charged but it whines like it is , has 3.8 v6 cold air cone not intake can u tell me why , and aslo it sounds just like your 97 is that a flowmaster on it cause thats what i have on mine feeb back plz

the grand prix gtp is a 3rd gen 3800 supercharged producing 260 hp and the g6 gtp is a 3.9 na engine producing 240

My boss has an 06 G6 GTP they do come with a 3.9 supercharged V6, and are hard to find performance parts for. All I found were intakes and cat backs.

3.2'' with just intake and DP?? Are you fucking kidding me??? That 97 is probably seeing at least 10 degrees of knock. You need at least rockers and headers for that pulley, with a good tune.....or a short stack IC would work too.

The 97 has 147*** miles and runs great. I bought it used and thats what i was told was done to it.

How do you know it runs great? Are you scanning it regularly? I guarantee that you have a dangerous amount of knock with that pulley. You could have chipped pistons and not even know it. Get that pulley off there and put a 3.5 on. I'm trying to help ya out here. I'm sure it would be quite a bit faster with a 3.5 pulley on there also.

Why is it bad to run a smaller Crank pulley? I was going to get the UDP underdrive pulley but it is only 1" smaller, with light weight crank pulley and alternator pulley, is it that bad?

I wasn't talking about the crank pulley. I'm talking about the supercharger pulley. If it is too small without enough supporting mods, then you will run into problems with heat and detonation AKA ''knock retard'' which is very bad and can cause chipped pistons, spun bearings and so on...

he drives it thats how he knows it runs great! sorry to bash a bit but u have heard of knock sensors right? when they detect any knocking your check engine come on! its a hard code, only goes away when you erase it with the scanner!

@Rlindloge You're an idiot. The check engine light does not come on when the knock sensors detect knock. It would only come on if you did some serious damage to the engine like pop a piston....which is what this guy is going to do without any supporting mods for that pulley. Do you know what HEAT and DETONATION is?

Sweet cars. Love the pontiacs. Hey for that G6, Lop off the muffler and weld on a y-pipe and some duals, check my videos. Don't remove the resonator no matter what!!! No muffler= sweet No resonator= rice!

Oh yea....I COMPLETELY AGREE. He is going to blow up his engine. A 3.2 should not be run without a full Intercooler, heads, cam etc. He has NO IDEA what he is doing.

I have the press on and for now the exhaust is stock. Its my daily driver so i dont want anything to loud. But I will probaly get a 3inch Downpipe some time soon.

how u likein the 3.5 pulley wit jus the cai and plugs. i got the same car, gettin plugs tstat and wizaired cai tomoro put in. was there a significant diffference in hp with the pulley swap? did u buy it off zzp?

I love the new 3.5 pulley wish i would have done it alot sooner. Im not sure how much extra HP i got from the pulley but you can feel the difference and really hear the whine of the supercharger. Yes got everything from zzp.
