YES 407 wheel HP, the truck bone stock makes 305 wheel HP, so if you do the math that is 102HP gain NOT 26HP.

How did you get 26HP anyway?????

@andycabby uhh dude the 5.7 makes 381 hp bone stock on low grade fuel, with the trd supercharger kit it bumps it up to 504 hp. your measurement of 407-381= 26 hp improvement. please dont tell me you have the wimpy 4.7 unstroked version of the 5.7?

Hmmmm let's see...

5.7 L V8 UR engine 381 hp (284 kW) and 401 lb·ft , That is the specs for that truck and the HP to the CRANK not to the WHELLS.

So if you take 381hp-20%(HP you loose while its transfer to the wheels=Dyno HP numbers), that will give you exactly 304.8WHP.

So now if you take 407WHP and add 20% that will give you 488.4HP (to the crank) on 93 octane fuel.

They have some serious balls...BUT my Mustang has a supercharger, a much smaller STOCK 4.6 motor and makes more power. They need to crank up that boost or something. Very nice truck though! Probably cost about $60k though

supercharger is 5k, truck (if it is lets say a loaded limited) is only 40 at the absolute top and that is retail, so in all maybe 40k at the most but prob really in the range of say 32ish. Also have to remember the chargers from TRD, so the settings will be somewhat conservative. But I would bet that someone will do some work on one soon and be putting down some serious power.

yea but taking more power out of the engine also puts a lot more strain on it's parts, that means your stock engines not going to last as long as it normaly should.

Of course, beating on it also reduces its life span. I have been beating the snot out of my Procharged '03 GT with over 420rwhp for 3 years now with completely stock motor, no problems yet. Gotta pay to play

the tundra pushes 501 to the rear wheels with the s/c, but i think that may include headers.

Matt those new Roush F-150's are slow 0-60 in 6.8. Beat one easily the other day going up the freeway onramp with my Dbl Cab 5.7. The new Chevy 6.2 is the only none s/c truck that can hang with Tundra. Your truck would still get a beating from a all stock, none tuned, S/C ed Tundra. Watch your vid and timed the 0-60, not bad for a Ford though I give you that =o).

i have raced an f150 crewcab 4x4... i gave him a head start and walked his ass down and still put a good stretch on him. dodges are the same way...no truck has the top end to hang with the tundra except maybe the new GM 6.2 but it has a bigger engine so it should win

videps like this are gonna make me spend the 6k for the supercharger. A fun fact for ya my stock 07 double cab tundra is faster than a roush supercharged 07 f150. cant imagine if i had forced induction too.
