True. Apparently this is considered "heavy metal". Sounds similar to the Aqua Teen movie intro (by Mastadon, another RB2 band/track I won't play), aka it's funny but not actually good.

Heh. I'm a huge fan of Mastodon and I like the Megasus songs I've heard in these games. Both are definitely metal and not screamo. Screamo has screams that are so annoying that even people who like this can't stand them.

uh oh, someone was on myspace or wikipedia, you would know that this doesnt actually sound like doom metal, unless it was mixed with death metal, in which case its called death doom...

Actually yes, it does sound like doom metal, because that's what it is. All doom metal bands don't sound like Sleep and Electric Wizard. Giving it a doom metal sub-category doesn't make it any less doom metal.
