you can get cusom rounds made. if you know some one who does brass reloads you can give them FMJ 180 to 200 grains. the heavier the bullet better the distance and accuracy goes up but speed goes down.

300 win mag

270 is a bit lighter, but its a good target rifle. Distance isnt as good as 308 or 300 wm, but it had a very flat trajectory. I've taken it out to 600 yards with no trouble at all. It'll pretty much shoot as well as you do. Again.. lacks the punch of a 300 wm. 300 wm is a great load, especially for LONG range.

It depends on range, but most often 308 is the standard. It'll reach 800-1000 but you better be good. 300wm and 338 are both being used also for longer ranges as well.

.308 is more comon in sniper platforms, .300win and up are mainly used for hunting large game at large distances.

They look like managed recoil loads or just light bullets. I know that .300 RUM kicks harder than that with full power loads. I have a .300 Weatherby using Weatherby full power loads that throw a 180 grain bullet at 3250 fps. It pushes my shoulder off and back about one foot on the bench ! Good to see girls shooting though !

Nah, I'm sure they're full power loads, but I did have it pretty well braced. If I were standing though, it would probably have kicked like you described. That, and the fact that I was really leaning into the stock to keep it from slapping me in the shoulder. Thanks for the comment :)

.300 Remington Ultra Magnum has different power levels for ammo. PLI, PLII, and PLIII. A PLIII is a tad less than my .300 Weatherbys load. Standings recoil is much better than from the bench. Because when your standing you body will go with the push so you won't feel the recoil as much, I'm only 16, 5"10, and 140 lbs so the recoil pushes me around pretty good. With the bench your whole shoulder gets a big shove.

@SniperAce016 dude, I've shot shotgun slugs with equivelent recoil to this, and if you look at the video on my page of water jugs, it's nothing to worry about, it'll hurt if you shoot alot, but then again, it's $35 for 20rds so I'm sure the most I'd be doing is like 5 shots a day, until I start to buy reloading equipment. I'm probably going to save up and get one in january for long range shooting. and maybe I'll load it with a 55gr bullet to see if I can break a mile per second.
