If Israel is truly a democracy, what will it do when its Arab population outnumbers the Jewish population?
There are three options:
1) Maintain a Jewish minority rule over a majority (apartheid)
2) Kick out (or worse) Arabs from Israel proper
3) Peacefully coexist with the indigenous Arab population and allow them in the political process.
Most Israeli politicians admit publicly that to have a Jewish state will not coincide with a democracy. Maybe it's time Israel stopped pretending.
