the info i found on the web; this project has 3 yamaha 1000cc engines fitted together for a W12 engine.

V12 engines cannot reach that high RPMs until they built with F1 technology

it is so loud; but not so quick car. very spectacular indeed.

Peugeot 205 rallycar fitted with a bmw v12 engine. Insane.... funnily enough thats the same engine they use in the williams F1 cars so it is a F1 technolgy engine !!!!

isn't v12,it's a peugeot 205 t16 (4cylinder turbo).it's very a fast car.

any I4 engine (like from the 205 T16) is CERTANLY not able to sound like this one here or the V12...

Acctually its not a V12, Vincent Foucarts old car was a V12, this is his later car with a BMW m3 straight 6 fitted which he down sized to 2 litres, sorry guys, not a V12

not fake but it shows you why a big V12 isn't ideal for that kind of racing; that thing is not fast, compared to the 1.8l turbo'd group B times it looked slow and the engine had zero torque. still, i'll have one for the weekends ; )

For all those claiming "the sound is from an RC car," modern fuel-injected v12s with open exhausts almost always scream similarly. Add a low displacement and high revs, and you get that shriek. To see what I mean, search "Le Mans 2004 Onboard - Colin McRae Ferrari 550 Maranello." The car has a 6.0 liter v12, open exhaust, fuel-injected, and a 7200 rpm redline (and is revved to it.) For those making those claims, get a freaking life, please, before making uneducated posts!

Because there is a rally car screaming its head off at full noise that is why. Dirt covered rally tyres on a dirt covered road for 2 secs isnt going to be louder then the car. Moron.

Hmmm you do have a point there sorta. I cant remember what engines these cars have. It may not be a V12 but the clip is real but maybe the name is wrong. I also cant remember this 100% but there where also def a mid engined small rally hatchback that may have been the GTI, at some point so that is where the V12 would be if it actually has one. And like was said already go listen to a formula one car and i think they only have V10s. A small V12 would scream even more.

Seriously?

Hemi 6.1L = 425bhp

BMW N73 6L = 445bhp

Granted the older V12's had less power (the very old ones could be considered underpowered) however they also had less displacement.

While we're at it comparing the Hemi 6.1L to the BMW 4.4L V8 N62B44

The BMW with the 4.4L displacement and 333bhp still has more bhp/L than the Hemi.

The Hemis may easily take power upgrades without any worries but out of the factory they are pretty tame.

This is pretty cool, but still not as good as the Group B rally racers of olde. The Audi Quattro was a fire-breathing monster, sounded way cooler than this.
