  • Fuck ---these chicks can still sing. bring it!!!!!

  • I am still a great fan after all these years!!!!!! Totally timeless.

  • They still have it.

  • This class just dosent exist today. Niiiice work ladies!

  • Is this part of the Doo Woops, recorded in 1999-2000....

  • Wonderful! Timeless classic sung by classy ladies!

  • The one dislike must be someone with a mental condition !

  • Valerie does a great job singing the lead here.....i always thought she was the best looking out of the trio, but they were all fine !

  • Was that Mary Wilson of the Supremes that introduced the Three Degree?

  • @TravieAviary Yes, that is Mary.

  • Definitely my favorite female trio ! Sheila and the Girls could really belt out a serenade !!

  • this song was dedicated to my best long gone friend and I still think of him even though we just had a few yrs...

  • OMG...how long has this been...I still get Goose bumps listening to this beautiful song.

(Brings back lovely memories. miss an old fabulous lover!)

  • What a classy act.

  • All I can say is WOW...I've always loved this song. BTW, I was also borned in May 1974 when it came out. Throughout the years many songs captivated my mind, however, this single song I love to listen anytime. 5 STARS These is a song that has stood the test of time and it's still a favorite. They don't make it like this anymore. I want to someday see 3D live.

  • They're still beautiful when they are older! =]

  • Yes Valerie did a good job.

  • timez' a bitch.

  • Mary blew the intro--"Valerie,Helen and Cynthia-FOTTD"-Im surprsed per all the drama around the Supremes name. Valerie did a great job though song too slow.

  • I love this song. So beautiful just like Valerie. She was always my favorite

  • Wow! What a surprise to see Supreme Mary Wilson introducing The Three Degrees. Of course she couldn't mention the name of the group because it still belongs to the girl's ex-manager. There's a lot of drama on that one! Still "Helen and the girls" made a spectacular showing and demonstrated that with name or with no name they are beautiful, talented, classy and can move an audience.

  • Valerie handled this song perfectly Well

  • The Chi-lites group members changed a lot like Three Degrees and the song Oh Girl was sang lead by Eugene Record. He left the group a long time, but in this contribution series he came back with them and sang the lead of Oh Girl with them. Sheila Ferguson should have at least came back to the same thing with them with When Will I See You Again.

  • Is that Valerie singing lead?!?!?!

  • @rjslade Yes. That's Valerie! The only member left from the Classic line-up of the Three Degrees (which were Valerie, Sheila Ferguson (who originally sang the lead) and Fayette Pinkney (who was the only original member of the group).

  • @proverbs1824 Cool! I'm proud of myself for recognizing her. :-)

  • They are cooler than all get out!!!!!

  • what concert was this? i'd love to see the full video -- a great number of artists performing in this show..

  • I haven´t heard this since the 70´s. I am not into disco, but this song is quite nice. I like it.

  • @bitbech This is hardly consider Disco, this charted both in The Pop & R&B Soul Chats, also a true #1!

  • Simply the Sound of Philadelphia...inspired me to write my novel "Philly Style and Philly Profile"...can't you see yourself walking down market street near 30th Street.

  • Thankyou ladies. Still packing a punch.

  • They still sound great

  • I get chills every time I hear this song

  • My daughters, who are 6 and 12, cry every time this song is played.

  • This song is so beautiful!!

  • This song really makes my eyes both watery and this song almost makes my eyes watery and it nearly makes you cry, because it makes me sad, it really does as that's why this song almost makes my eyes watery and it nearly makes you cry, feel all blue and very lonesome and this song really makes my eyes feel watery. I don't really much care for that song as this is such a sad song and I don't want to play or learn this song on the guitar and this is the saddeest song ever, it really is! :( :(

  • ah, three part harmony! I SO miss that in today's genre.

  • The Three Degrees are GREAT!!! they even remembered the dance steps.....

    You Go GIRL!!!!

  • could have been a legal reason that she couldn't intoduce them as the Three degrees-someone else probably owned the right to the name at the time this was done.......

  • @johnnyrockintalkin

It was because their ex manager Richard Barrett stopped them from using the name in the US because he said he owned it....so they could not say they were The Three Degrees, they did use The Philly Degrees, but all has been settled now with their ex managers estate, that they now can work in the US as The Three Degrees, but it is still very hard for them to get the recognition they deserve.

  • @DegreeOfLove This are true professionals and as a 1970's Supremes lover I recognize that The Three Degrees were and are in the forefront of music, It's funny to see that the manager who drop the ball on them at the peak of their popularity would be the one hampering them from performing under the name (The Three Degrees) they surely earned, here they truly prove they still have it and are a force in music to contend with!

  • "helen and the girls"??? dumb intro, but the three degrees are sublime in this clip. and i do mean sublime. age appropriately sensual and soulful. timeless. classic. when will we see their like again in pop entertainment. i'm afraid never. what a joy to see these honest-to-god american originals still at the top of their game.

  • I think the teleprompter messed up on Mary. This clip is The Three Degrees at their best.

  • who's mary?

  • Mary Wilson of The Supremes who made the introduction.

  • Oh...da kommen alte Erinnerungen an damals wieder zurück. Ganz toll die 3 Damen!!!

Würde sie so gerne heute Live nochmal sehen.
