I don't have an mp3 of it right now, but thanks for letting me know.... its a fairly simple song to play so I may consider doing a lesson on it in the future. But not right now (still other things I must teach first).
Well technically, the Clavicytherium, shown in the video IS an upright. Another historical upright was the "Giraffe" piano, which I wasn't able to find. But keep in mind that uprights weren't invented until the mid 19th century, AFTER the decline of the square piano. So they're not a major part of the piano's historical timeline. Besides if you visit any local piano store today, you're likely to see plenty of uprights but hardly *any* of the instruments you saw in this video. Hmm... why is that?
No Demand, People Would Probibly Just Use MIDI For The Sound If A Harpsichord Or Bright Piano. Don't Worry I'll Start A Co. That Makes Uprights Made To Sound Like Harpsichords And etc. And Eventualy Work Up To Pianos Like In This Video.
The "square piano portable version" looks like its really a travel clavichord with the dust cover on to me and the clavichord pictured seems to be late 18th century in design(looks like a copy of the stein clavichord in the Hague Museum) what museum/s are these pictures from?
nice
