These two are not connected in this video. I had to fill a bucket and dump it into the other container. If you look at my other rain barrel/compost tea system video, you will see that I now have 4 barrels which are all hooked up via PVC pipe under them.
Thank you so much for sharing such a valuable and brilliant idea for the garden. I believe every farmer and gardener must go for this system and I also believe this is God's method. As I am teaching the poor farmers in India I would very much encourage them to adopt this system.
While I appreciate people making, using and experimenting with compost tea, I really wish they would get a little education about some of the science behind it before recommending methods to others. Using materials that have not been fully and properly composted is potentially harmful, especially when not aerated. Pathogenic organisms could thrive in a brew like this.
Thank you for the comment. I do aerate this mixture - as seen in the video otherwise it begins to smell bad. I know that the method I use - not using fully composted materials - isn't ideal, but it is what I have available and works well for me.
