holy fuck I've been looking for this piece of music for years but never knew its name. It was used as incidental music in a spanish documentary called Comics the 9th Art which was translated to english and shown on late night ITV regional tv in the early 90's.
Alan Hawkshaw composed MANY library pieces that were subsequently used as TV themes - "Dave Allen At Large" f'rinstance - but I think you'll find David Frost's theme - "By George, It's David Frost" - was penned by George Martin. And Neal Hefti composed the theme for "The Odd Couple" (the movie AND the TV show). Oh, and Q (Quincey Jones) composed the ":Ironside" theme. But GREAT video, though!
Another work of genius from The Hawk.
