@Txman1996 No, I have not. That is why I was not included in the survey of over 100,000 currently-serving members of the armed forces, a survey which concluded that a vast majority of the US military does not care whether they serve with openly gay people. It further concluded that those who KNEW they had served with gay people in the past had had positive experiences with that gay person. I strongly encourage you to look up the results of this survey.
@Alex0821 Really? Yes, I am familiar with this survey. In fact, I personally know many many people who were not polled. Do you know who was polled? Someone's wife, a dependent. Sorry, that's crap. That doesn't really mean anything since that person wil never serve. It doesn't really matter that DADT passed because the activities exhibited by those who who are homosexual are prohibited as described in the UCMJ. Look it up.
@Txman1996 As I just mentioned, I am aware of who was polled: over 100,000 currently-serving serivcemembers, as well as many military spouses. Vast majorities of both of those groups said they do not think repealing DADT will have a negative impact on military readiness. I would also say that the military is NOT a democracy. Servicemembers aren't polled on whether they support various military policies - if you don't like the top brass's decisions, don't serve.
@Alex0821 And, I really don't care if homosexuals openly serve in the military. What angers me is that it's not those who are in the military pushing this crap, it's the empty suits in Washington forcing this crap on us.
are you kidding me? how come this doesn't pass? this is amazing and I am impressed with these men's statements, but why is it that that nothing has changed?
To the person that posted this video: Have you served in the miltary and under what capacity?
