@PiccadillyMan I bought mine on eBay. Pay attention and count the keys when you're buying them. Toy pianos come in all sorts of chromatic ranges, two octave and higher are very hard to come by/ very rare. Mostly you can only find them in France. Look for "Michelsonne Toy Piano"
Wow congratulations Vlad!!, aparto from the great music a conceptual bockground added!, the first time i heard it i thought it was a Tiersen's b-side and started to search for the download, 'cause i wanted that song near to me. but obviously couldn't find it, you're great!!... again congrats!!
@RadwulfRad Hey! You can find this toy piano version on his very first album "La Valse des Monstres", and he also has some version of it live, where he plays on toy piano! If you'd like, I can send you an mp3 ^_^!
Great job. Thanks also for your scores. I have a question : how many keys are needed to play this on a toy piano as there are different sizes ? Thanks
I have small japanese "curtains" that hang over the entrance to my room. So I have a light shining from my living room into my music room, and then I turned a fan on, so that they would move! So it would look like "dancing monsters" :)
hehe I put a lot of detail into my videos ^_^, or at least try to!
-you could live in france and happen by a garage/street sale where someone is selling one
-find them online, ebay is how I purchased all of mine
- antique stores, etc
In North America the main brand is Jaymar and Schoenhut
In France (what Tiersen uses) is the Michelsonne. Michelsonne has a very unique sound, much better than north american ones, but are hard to get a hold of, and bids gets really high on eBay for them! :(
The way your videos express and amplify the emotions within the music is phenomenal.
You have a gift. Thank you for sharing it with the world
