The ESCORT uses a very different feeding style that the Asahi gun.

The ESCORT system needs a lot of pressure and volume to function properly, so a JAC Remote system is NOT advised due to massive cooldown from how hungry the ESCORT engine is. You will want a 20 ounce CO2 tank minimum, and even then you'll only get about 1000 shots before the ESCORT runs dry.

Asahi made a M60E3 shorty, though the outer barrel on the long version can be chopped down too.

The weight cannot really be reduced, but heavy weight is one of the selling points of this gun.
