I saw a meteor once, but it was during the day, so it just looked like a huge fireball. It quickly disentegrated in the atmosphere.

Im not a crank!-My report(s)-In late August, I saw a stationary (sarcophagus shape)UFO; and an orb,(flying far above moving in random lines a thousand ft above it), over the Fraser River at 210th..(w/2 other witnesses) In the original clip of the Meteor video on the News that day; I/we also saw a lumionus object moving at high speed to "intercept" the meteor.. all the clips on youtbe are "dimmed slowed and cropped" to make the object in the final frames look like a star.. an easy coverup.. tj

I read that it was probably the size of a desk, so it wouldn't have made a crater. However, small pieces of it could be recovered in a strewn field, if located.

That's a wild video of a fireball meteor. I've seen one like this, but it was much much smaller especially after it impacted the denser part of the atmosphere. The one I saw broke apart into many pieces and went much faster. It did however resemble this meteor almost exactly in color and luminescence except for the magnitude of the light brightening the entire sky from the horizon into the clouds.
