  • Flatfooting is a style of buck dancing. The term flatfooting may come from the Scottish word platfute which was a type of Scottish dance. There's not much difference between the two especially when you take into consideration the personal styles of individual dancers. In a competition that has a category for buck dancing and a separate category for flatfoot dancing the rules for flatfoot dancing usually require that the dancer keep his feet closer to the floor than in the buck dancing cat.

  • I wanna learn how to buck dance, always have.

  • There will be a free buck dancing workshop at Uncle Dave Macon Days in Murfreesboro, TN July 11th.

  • @Buckdance What is the difference between buck dancing and flat footing?

  • SOOO COOL!!!!!
