The king has no idea how they wear out their shoes. So he says if a man can find where they dance at night, he can marry which every princess he chooses. A man find where the go, and marries the oldest which is supposed to be the most pretty.

It's the same thing as a story called The Dancing Shoes, except gave it a different name and a Barbie Style to the story. The story of The Dancing Shoes is these princesses go through a secret passageway in thier room and disappear in a magical world. There is a great castle, but to get to it they have to cross on boats across a lake which is described as a melted saphire.
