I don't understand these american right wingers complaining about health care. They think its like the UK NHS but it isn't its just subsidised. But even if it was in the UK we pay around the same income tax as percent of income as americans do yet we all get 100% free health care for life.

@kakahass What's the harm in giving workers more? The owners and upper management of some corporations have multi-million dollar salaries and bonuses. If workers make more, those multi-millionaires can make less. Depending on the size of the company, this can make sense or not, I know, but I've ben much happier working (hard) in unions than working outside of unions. There's no reason to say the owner and upper management deserve 100X the workers salary instead of 20X...it's arbitrary.

I think the majority of those people currently have no insurance and believe that thay can get through with their savings when illness hits them.
They believe that national health care means they will be forced to pay the premium even if they can't afford it.

@kakahass What's the harm in giving workers more? The owners and upper management of some corporations have multi-million dollar salaries and bonuses. If workers make more, those multi-millionaires can make less. Depending on the size of the company, this can make sense or not, I know, but I've ben much happier working (hard) in unions than working outside of unions. There's no reason to say the owner and upper management deserve 100X the workers salary instead of 20X...it's arbitrary.

I am amazed people do not understand why people are angry. It has been said over and over again. This is not about reforming healthcare, which is wonderful here in the US. It is a power grab by politicians, esp Obama. The power grab is unconstitutional. The 10th Amendment reserves powers not otherwise granted to the federal government. The Constitution does not give the government the right to prohibit the sale of health insurance as HR 3200 does (page 16-17).
