When Jesus took all man's sin upon himself, that was the punishment he went through. The Romans and Jews didn't know this, but they were fulfilling God's plan in torturing and killing him.
@ProxySpam Jesus wasn't just trying to deliver a message. Mankind was incredibly sinful, just like today, so there had to be some sort of punishment. The Romans occupying the area then used crucifixion as a punishment for most crimes, so...
Yes but Moses turned the Nile into blood, and made hail fall from the sky. Jesus talked alot, did few, blah blah bla bla bla...where's the miracle lol
@ProxySpam He raised people from the dead. He even raised himself from the dead. Also, Moses did nothing. It was God working through him. All Moses did was hold up a stick and act as God's human messenger. Lastly, Jesus is God. So there.
@JakobDailes If Jesus is God, why did he get flogged and rot on a cross? If I was a God trying to deliver a message, I strongly doubt I needed to go on a cross to be more persuasive. The cross was for false prophet and Jesus knew that. What God would want to be known as a false prophet?
@ProxySpam because that was his main purpose. and he did more than get flogged and get crucified on a cross: he took the punishment that we deserve on himself so that we may have life.
@ryanmacdaddy1000 Why would Jesus get punished? He did nothing, didn't even sin once! How does it make sense to you? I commit a crime so you, Jesus, come and get punished instead of me, so I will not be held accountable for my crime? Then, rapists and murderers in jail would wish there was a Jesus at every corner so they could get away with their crimes and go right back at it!
@ProxySpam of course he did nothing wrong. if a sinful man was crucified, it would've done nothing. it had to be the perfect one for the sacrifice and Jesus was that perfect one. and if I wasn't clear, it was his GOAL to go up on that cross in the first place. he died so that we might have a relationship with him!
@ryanmacdaddy1000 Jesus does not say I have come so that the thieves may have a life! He talks about his sheep. Read a few verses later:
John 10:11: "I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep."
Those who follow his teachings are "the sheep" and he would give his life to protect them and guarantee their safe trip into heaven. Jesus never says he is God or that he came here to get punished for someone else's sins!
@ProxySpam you obviously don't know who the "thief" he's referring to is. he's referring to Satan. HE comes to steal, kill, and destroy. Jesus came so that we ALL may have life. even the most evil people in the world, he died for them too! he died for ALL of us. John 3:16 "God so loved the world that He sent His own Son, so that WHOEVER believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life." notice that 'whoever.' he's clearly saying ANYBODY can come to him and they will have life
@ryanmacdaddy1000 Who is the narrator of 3:16? It's not God so everyone goes, sight...not God's word. But there is still hope! It may be the prophet's words, but no, it's not Jesus saying that either, so who says that? A false prophet! His statements contradict what Jesus claims! Jesus tells people to follow his teachings, not to follow HIM. To follow his teachings and through his teachings, his father. That's the definition of a prophet, not a God:
@ryanmacdaddy1000 Son of God means, I am the son of God, you are the son of God, Jesus was the son of God, Adam was son of God...we are ALL sons of God. "Begotten" son of God is an invention, a fabrication. If jesus is the begotten son of God because he had no father, than Adam is an even greater begotten son of God because he had no father and no mother! If you consider Jesus to be God then you have many Gods, Jesus, his apostles etc.
@ryanmacdaddy1000 I'm not a muslim, but since I can't swallow poison and heal the sick, I guess I can't be a christian! And I'm not an idol worshiper either. I am a man who believed in God, not in his man made image and words. Do you honestly think God would have nothing better to tell us? Like how to make electricity, and ammonia to fertilize the earth. Something useful. Not useless crap. If I put you in an alien planet with Bible and Quran you couldn't built a pot to piss in.
@ProxySpam well only Muslims say that Jesus was never crucified, nor was he ever the Son of God. and if you believe in God like you say you do, you would also believe that he sent his only Son to die on a cross to save us from our sins. but you say "not in his man made image and words," and you say you're not a Muslim, so what does that mean? It must mean you're a false prophet. you're twisting Scripture to make your points while I use Scripture UNtwisted to answer your questions.
@ProxySpam and one more thing, John 1 CLEARLY states that Jesus was not just the Son of God, Jesus WAS God. and when you say otherwise, your calling God a liar. End of discussion. I'm DONE
@ryanmacdaddy1000 The prophet can't overwrite the word of God, and John cannot overwrite the word of Jesus. If you take John's word vs. the word of Jesus, you're not a Christian! You're an idol worshiper. You worship the golden calf!
@ProxySpam wrong, wrong, wrong. the Bible clearly states that Jesus was MORE than just a "prophet": he was the Son of God. He WAS GOD. and I worship the One who came in the flesh to die for our sins! I worship the One who rose from the dead on the third day! I worship the One who was, who is, and who is to come! that is who I worship! not some useless man-made piece of gold! therefore, I'm permanently ending this! GOOD-BYE. ugh!
@ryanmacdaddy1000 The Bible states that, when you rise from the dead, you are spirit. So how come the cloth were unveiled and set aside, the the tomb stone was remvoed? If he was spirit, why need to remove the stone and remove cloth? Because he was? Alive! Just like in the belly of the whale, to accomplish it, he had to be? Alive! When he walked outside he was mistaken for a gardner...why mistake a ghost for a human? Because he was? Alive! Alive alive alive! He never died!
@ryanmacdaddy1000 When he came onto his apostels, why were they scared? Because they were told that he was dead and burried so they thought he was a ghost. So Jesus went onto them and revealed himself and his wounds saying hey! It's me guys! ME! I am ALIVE! I am not a spirit! I never died, I am ALIVE! don't be scared!
@ProxySpam Luke 24:46 "It was written long ago that the Messiah (himself) would suffer and die and rise from the dead on the third day." THAT'S what happened. you call yourself a Christian, you're obviously a false prophet! you twist God's word to fit your own desires. you say "this is what really happened" but it goes against what the Bible says! the Bible is God's Word! and like I said, when you say otherwise you're calling God a liar. and God commanded us NEVER to lie
@ProxySpam and what part of the Bible says that it LOOKED like He was crucified? what Bible are you reading from? because my Bible says it didn't LOOK like He was crucified, my Bible says He WAS crucified.
@ryanmacdaddy1000 Yes you're going to say that jesus said he will rise on the third day. Yes, like I rise from my bed in the morning. Does it mean I die? Lol
@ryanmacdaddy1000 I will answer that. WHERE WERE THE APOSTLES? The ONE moment Jesus really needed them to be around, they are GONE. What do we have as evidence? The word of a prostitute, and an emotionally disturbed mother that even today's jury would not admit as plausible evidence.
@ryanmacdaddy1000 Crucifixion means you die on the cross. You don't die on the cross you're not crucified. Like I said, nor did they kill him, nor did they crucify him, it was only made to appear so.
@ryanmacdaddy1000 The bible was written by the church...nowhere does it say Bible: author: Jesus of Nazareth. LOL Some of it is the word of God, some of it is the word of prophets and many of it is the word of regular people, obscenities, abomination and evil human thoughts. For it to be the word of God it must be mistake free.
@ProxySpam it IS mistake free. and you haven't even ATTEMPTED to answer my question. why? because you're a false teacher. NOWHERE in the Bible does it state that the crucifixion was faked. NOWHERE. so now, I'm REALLY through arguing. Good-bye, sionara (however the heck it's spelled), and adios!
@ryanmacdaddy1000 Jesus was a great man and a valuable prophet. It's the gay church that took his word and placed it in the shittiest and most cruel context ever: To SUFFER for mankind. To be tortured and stripped of spirit to please God. See how fucked up humans are? They just had to perpetuate their rape, murder and genocide through religion. The word of Jesus was not enough! Jesus doesn't tell you to kill. So they had to modify the context to allow rape and killings.
@ryanmacdaddy1000 I answered why he was not crucified but ill come with the final argument. Jesus puts all his eggs in the same basket by invoking the sign of Jonah. But he NEVER fulfills it! He must spend 3 days and 3 nights in the tomb, just like jonah spent 3 days AND 3 nights in the belly of the whale. How long does Jesus stay in the tomb? Friday night, saturday morning, saturday night, sunday morning...ok so if you count evening as a day fine...NOT 3 days and 3 nights!
@ryanmacdaddy1000 What does jesus say when he comes out of the tomb? "Touch me not! I have not yet ascended onto my father"
Why would he say that? Would she be electrocuted if she touched him? Would Jesus explode? NO He was in pain because he was a physical body, he was ALIVE! And he says he has not yet ascended meaning? He never died! Jesus tells you in the bible he never died and you believe otherwise! Are you christian or church idol worshiper, ring kissing papist?
@ProxySpam that's the problem, you still haven't answered where the Bible says that he never died. due me a favor, before you comment again, tell me where EXACTLY does the Bible say that.
@ryanmacdaddy1000 Mathew 16:4 :A wicked and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given unto it, but the sign of the prophet Jonas. And he left them, and departed.
Jesus says, no sign shall be given to you but the sign of jonas. And he never fulfills the prophecy because you say he was dead in the tomb, and Jonas was not dead. And Jonas was for 3 days and 3 nights in the belly of the whale, while jesus never did that. How many times to repeat..
@ryanmacdaddy1000 The only way for Jesus to fullfill Jonas sign is to remain ALIVE in the tomb...just like Jonas was ALIVE in the belly of the whale. Have you read your Bible? The sign of Jonas is 1 page and a half long. Read it.
@ryanmacdaddy1000 Also, to fulfill the sign of Jonah, Jesus must stay alive in the tomb, just like jonah stayed alive in the belly of the whale for 3 days and 3 nights. You ask christians, how was Jesus in the tomb...DEAD! So Jesus never fulfilled the prophecy! If he was dead, how was the sign of Jonah fulfilled?

@isaiahmjohnson so is it all right to follow a different religion, or none at al? love is all, right? I have a feeling you will only think it counts if you believe St Paul's crazy ideas about a man he never met, and who certainly did not die on the cross after trying to set himself up as King Of The Jews. Why do Xtians never notice that sign above his head or the fact that blood came out of his side?

@ProxySpam because that's the only way we'll ever get to Heaven

@ryanmacdaddy1000 How exactly is justice done by punishing an innocent man while letting criminals get away with it? We know God is great, and God is not idiot nor illogical.

What y'all don't know is that Jesus of Nazareth and Star Wars were filmed in the same area around the same year.

YOU ALL are talking about "genologies" and not being in awe and grateful of being pat of this....GOD coming down and dwelling upon men..and to take away the sins of the world by HIS OWN BLOOD..LOVE, love one another say this is not of importance, the matter is JESUS lives and reigns and we are saved racism and people making Jews white etc. is nothing but assignment of division it is wrong move on and go against racism itself the spirit of it and not arguing among ourselves.LOVE wins over all

Balthazar is the wise man who said
"The stars are not distant and aloof cut off from the lives of men. The rising of a new star entails an immense labor
in the heavens that always has its counterpart on earth"
Who is Balthazar? Baal the Czar..lol
Balthazar (also spelled Balthasar or Balthassar), from Phoenician, meaning "Baal protects the King" is the name commonly attributed to one of the Three Wise
