@ChemXu unfortunately,it won't work for normal narrow feedneck..

cyclone feed itself holds around 25 paintballs, so you can shoot about 25 paintballs before cyclone is empty

if you make BUPL for a standard feedneck, first, it's not low profile, since it's over the marker,and second,standard feedneck will only hold 3-4 paintballs or less,so that means that you will have to "reload" every 3-4 shots...

I have a few questions. I have tried to make this 3 times and all get is cuts in my finger from dremel... First i wonder how you go about tracing the line on where to cut the pod, this is my highest area of mistakes. Also I was wondering why the pod is cut on the right side a bit when you are looking at it from a front view like at 0:30. Thanks!

how will i get the ramp inside the pod and glued when the wings and tac caps are the way? do i glue the ramp to the tac cap and wings then glue all that to the pod. otherwise wouldnt it be hard sticking your fingers throuh the bottom of the loader and glueing the ramp in nicely.

no, it won't work with narrow feedneck, you will have to "reload" every 3-4 paintballs!!! since normal feedneck can't hold 25-30 paintballs like Cyclone feed...

hey i just had an idea for the ramp in the pod. instead of cutting a cd cake box wouldnt you be able to cut several groves into the pod and push the groves up? think of it like when you have triangles cut into a material and you push the triangles down and they make a circle (like the virtue crown) just an idea less stuff to sacrifice is all.

I aleady have some paintball guns, i have 4 but one of them has a leak and another gun is almost 10 years old and has not been used since about 2002 so i need to clean it out and lube it. I got the gun that needs to be cleaned (Spyder Elite), and a Model 98 (i just cleaned it and it shoots great) from my cousins who used to paintball. I just want a new one so that i can have a good backup. Right now i use a Tippmann 98 Custom Pro Platinum Series with an Apex barrel and a Collapsible stock.

I just made mine from my old A5 hopper by cutting both of the ends of and half of the top off, place a pod on top of the whole, and ran a bolt through them, drilled a whole in to the pod about the same size of the hopper hole. works GREAT, does'nt really need that reload. thanks so much for your vids! I think there the best paintball how-to's.

One question though. I'm mounting a large dot sight directly onto the A-5's accessory rail using the SpecOps weaver rail. Will I be able to mount it without a riser?

yes, you can mount almost anything directly on A5's top rail, but if you have stock on your marker, you probably won't be able to see trough the scope, because of your mask...

Dye locklids... look on Action village, they tend to run from 3 $ a pod to 5$ but they are worth it, especially for mods. 6 pods for $30.

it would be possible to drill a hole on the right side of the marker, but when you switch the Cyclone feed to another side, piston of Cyclone will be facing forward...

so there's a lot of troubles with this...

that will ruin the Cyclone, and you will still need to "reload" since loader is horizontal, and there's nothing to push paintballs to the cyclon...

and you wouldn't be able to use different loaders..

that means that opening push button of the pod is facing down, so you can open it without taking a hand of the trigger...

(that's only if you are using Dye Lock lid pod)

yes, i checked. you don't need to make that groove, but when you want to attach your BULP loader, you need to force it and push down till it fit, when you want to remove it, you need to pull it hard, but it's possible.....

4.maybe make the strip where there is no material smaller so that the balls will not touch the plastic and make noise, i think this would beposible and you should try it

5.you can still see how much paint that you got and it is silenced;)
