Ohno isn't the most likable human being in the world, yes. He actually grew up in my home town of Federal Way. Some kids I knew (a few grades ahead of me, like Ohno) reported that was a punk, even during his early days of rollerblading.

He's a great sport, because he never drops the smile, never throws a fit, shows great sportsmanship even when he was DQ'ed.
The call was unfair, if Ohno was DQ'ed, the Canadian in front also should have been.
The Canadian who had fallen made a mistake, he turned to sharply and the shoe part of his skate slid across the ice.
The shoe part is not supposed to hit the ice, for if it does, you will certainly fall.

well who "womped" you in the first hockey game? hmmmmm, 5-3. that's a larger difference then the game for gold. and yes the canadian judge in the short track was a factor. apolo had a hand on hamelin's hip the entire turn because he was about to run into him and hamelin didn't fall. when ohno took his hand off at the end of the turn thats when hamelin fell because he made his own mistake. if hamelin hadn't fallen down, apolo wouldn't have been dqd. so just shut up about things you don't know.

Ohno isn't the most likable human being in the world, yes. He actually grew up in my home town of Federal Way. Some kids I knew (a few grades ahead of me, like Ohno) reported that was a punk, even during his early days of rollerblading.
Nonetheless, it's not like the Korean team doesn't have its share of "obnoxious and vindictive" behavior. Many of the Koreans have said very cruel, unsportsman-like things about Ohno. I can't say that I've ever heard Ohno say anything in comparably bad taste.

Actually I live in California. I have a fondness for Asia with the exception of Korea and the way Koreans behave in public towards each other as well as foreigners in their country. I had such a good time in China and Japan but in Korea I was miserable. I know loads of foreigners and even Koreans who feel the same way.

Another time, I was waiting for a flight from Seoul to Malaysia and in the terminal there were about 20 Korean businessmen, probably headed to SEAsia for a whore tour, and then along into the terminal comes a Muslim man with a head turbin and a full beard.
