Thank you so much for sharing! You are so good with the tutorials. I just got a melting pot and was a little scared to use it but your video was awesome:)
Janie if you still look for a way to make the hole in just squeez the toothpic in clear embossing ink before you put it in the mold and then give the UTEE in the mold... you'll get out the toothpic easily
Just love this! Went straight out to look for the moulding clay but couldn't find any. Do you have the product name of the moulding clay? You said you got it from your store but we are not lucky enough to have Michels being in New Zealand
Coating the toothpick with either embossing ink or perhaps some archival safe oil might do good as well. Not sure what they have out there in oil that is archival safe, but worth a try I suppose.
Coat the tooth pick with embossing ink maybe to lubricate it. I know that Suz Weinburg made beads and to get the beads of the stick she coated it. Great demo. Thanks. Lovin your videos.
You make it look so simple...i'm going to have to invest in a melting pot now.....thank you so much for sharing....by the way, I love watching your videos...hope to see more soon.
Thanks for the sweet comment ! These charms are probably this easiest thing I have ever done !!! I would love to continue to share videos ! And I love the nice comments too !!! I think I am going to do another video today ! Be on the look out !! HUGS, Janie
You culd try using your versamark pad as a release agent for your toothpick. Roll your toothpick around in the pad before putting it in your mold. I know this works for rubber stamps when you stamp in the utee. (It works like greasing up a cake pan). I had not thought of dipping the flowers in there though. very cook idea. Thanks a bunch.
Hi Lexen ! Thanks so much for the sweet comments ! This is a very fun project to do ! And as you can see not hard at all ! I am trying to think of way to save in crafting and this certainly will help ! You do need to get a camera and join us girlie ! I would love to see what you make !!! I love to get ideas from everyone ! Thanks so much for watching ! Keep a look out for more video's ! Hugs, Janie
Miss Janie, Wowzer sister, another awesome video! Great job... I am kinda chicken to fire up the pot & play with it. You are just an old pro at these!
Lol Mrs.Gale I do wish sister sister ! If I could ever stop saying um um threw all of them ! But I am not going to let it discourage me ! I guess if we are making videos instead of watching them we are gonna save some money !! Fire up that pot I know if I can do it you can do anything ! You are super creative you will see how easy peasy it is ! Maybe we could start a Mold Swap ! Havent heard of one of those ! We need to do the other swap too ! It will make us feel we got to go shopping ! Janie

I've done similar crafts like beads and I used to wax the wooden skewers so glue or glaze wouldn't stick and ruin the bead.

@shesheparton Not a dumb question, at all. UTEE stands for: Ultra Thick Embossing Enamel. It's by Ranger Industries. Hugs, Suzy
