the ron paul movement is called libertarianism. he will get the nom. on april 15 and finally inject COMPETITION into political arena. he has a real shot since the DEMS are pro-war and the REPS are all pro-big-gov and independents are sick of both sides. im a strict conser. rep. and i cant vote for mccain or romney. my only choice is RP on libert. ticket.

I don't know about Ron Paul being the leader of "the opposition" but I think you do have a point. After this campaign, what happens next? This really is a movement, about ideas and not a man, so what is to become of all of this? I'm not really sure yet, but I think its definitely positive for freedom and I'm looking forward to see things play out.

Yes, I like that idea. I think he can become the de-facto opposition leader, but not via of another party; thank goodness he understands the folly of the third-party movement. That will confuse and end the movement, but losing an election will not. Moreover, I think his political power as a congressman will dramatically increase.

Ron Paul is getting coverage in many other countries. I can't find fault with the rest of the stuff you said but it is true that the BBC and several outlets in Austrailia, china, russia, and france have reported on Ron Paul.

I wouldn't say the BBc have reported on Ron Paul, they may have mentioned him occasionaly but that's all and usually as a footnote.

I was in France recently and the French media were talking about him in more realistic terms than I have heard from Auntie Beeb.

I really hope one of his sons(Rand) steps up and shows much stronger political views. I love Ron Paul, I hope he does win the GOP nomination and then Presidential!
