  • I started listening to these guys in 79 up here in Canada when their Face To Face album came out....they have been an absolute staple from then on...

  • Gods. I have loved these guys for 30+ years. Very influential. And should have been much bigger than they were.

  • the angels had it all.

  • One of the best gigs I ever went to was the Angels at Selenas, Coogee Bay Hotel. Liveline baby !

  • FUCK ME, WHAT ELSE IS THERE....

  • fucking phenominal

  • gaddemet :)

  • I feel sorry for anyone who hasnt experienced an angels concert in the flesh.. Doc was the greatest front man for this legendary aussie rock group and all the guys deserve a place in our history of rock bands.

  • @choptop61

    i was born the 23/7/91

on 22/7/09 they played at my local club - i was 1 day too young to see them fuck i was pissed off!!

my mother saw them 6 times at differents pubs in 1 week in the 70s and she said it was

    AMAZING

my older brother takes her to see them when ever he gets teh chance and they said unless youve seen them live you havnt heard of them,....

  • @choptop61 Sadly I was one that never had the experience, live.

  • This is pure magic, my eyes went a little watery here. The glory days of The Angels. Rick's Guitar at 5.07 still gets to me after listening to this for over 30 years.

  • loved the angels since 1978.. got all their albums up to 'night attack'.. nothing after that but i'll always love and support them.. seen them heaps back in the 80's and 90's and they kicked arse.. going to panthers to see them next month.. rock on doc, rock on angels, last of the great aussie pub bands..

  • GREAT SOUND!!

  • Had sushi with him on the weekend!! new stuff on its way SOLO follow on twitter @docneeson

  • no need to get even . you got nearly all of it. have you gott long night. the angels will always be best, thanks

  • Effen unreal. Anyone got more from this gig?

  • I was there at LaTrobe in 79 have goose bumps all over me as I listen, boy was this bad under-rated, still sounds brilliant today!

  • I long for the days of a younger Angels playing awesome shows at Thebby Theatre in their hometown, Adelaide.

  • Doc Neeson was incredible in concert. Saw them in Vancouver in the early 80's and he'd start the show dressed in a three piece suit and tie and by the end of the show he'd stripped down to just his pants, he tossed everything else into the crowd, even his socks and shoes.

Truly a spectacular performer and the band was incredibly tight and energetic, one of the best live shows ever.

  • @mrmike234 Saw these guys in the early 80's at the local ....loved and love them for every thing they are ...A Great Aussie Band ...love yah doc

  • @mrmike234 Could have gone to that gig. I live in Vancouver......and I'm jealous right now.....(crying a bit over lost opportunities) I have to go lay down for a while.

  • Chris Bailey was/is a very underrated bass player. Nice little solo in this song and what about his great work in the song Marseilles. The Angels' classic line up was the best band in Oz rock.

  • Good Christ, how awesome is this?!

  • I never get enough of them, love it....

  • One of the greatest live acts ever. The greatest frontman...you never get bored at an Angels concert. Love this band..always will.

  • Ha ha Brilliant! 'No Exit' was my first album I ever bought, I was about 13 years old. My sister and I are the only people we know who can sing 'Mr Damage' verbatim (except for Doc) ha ha.

  • @mungobrass "No Exit" was the first album I stole (sorry guys, no royalties) and carry on with frozen hands mungo 8)

  • This is FUCKING BADASS!!! Thank you for this...THANK YOU!!!!!

  • I get the impression these guys are the ROLLING STONES of AUSTRALIA! haha TRUE

  • I love the Angels. No Exit just like fine fine yets better the more you drink it. Live it is an awesome show starter. I'm obsessed by The Angels to the point that I make myself sick. Need help.

  • @anyone4abeer AA (Angels Anonymous) meets every second Friday at my house at.7pm, You are more than welcome to come along and join in our meeting.( just bring a slab of Coopers and your swag...) ALL HAIL THE ALL MIGHTY DOC... MAY WE LIVE IN YOUR SHADOW... AND NEVER COME OUT OF THE DARK ROOM

  • @paddockaddict If you're serious I'm in!

  • Doc in his prime. He owned the stage.

  • i think i was at this one !!!!!

  • Brings back memories of seeing them 3 or 4 times a week in the late 70"s 80's. Sylvania Hotel, Stage Door Tavern, Sydney Cove Tavern, Bondi Lifesaver. The Sydney Pub Band scene was a great time to grow up. Doc went off!!!!!

  • @oztoob

i consider myself to be the final year of the people that listened to good music people 1 year younger then me hate real music and listen to complete and udder shit - i was born in 91 and i LOVE the angels, ACDC, Metallica, Megadeth, Black Sabbath - all that good stuff. when these guys next tour sydney (april i think) im gonna go and im gonna buy my mum a ticket to go as well shes seen em like 17 times lol.

  • @frobinhood 1995 was the year things started to go downhill, and there's no stopping that since, it seems

  • @MetallicBill

by things do you mean music or the angels in general?

  • @frobinhood All music in the USA "market" and seemingly across the board, The Angels I'm sure stay true to music they originate, like AC DC

  • Man this is The Angels at their complete peak, I am so glad I saw them many times at their peak. The crowds where always so into them. I couldnt sleep after seeing them in concert back in the late 70s to mid 80s. I guess seeing them live was my most cherished childhood memories. No Exit is a very underated song. The guitar riff near the end is truely awesome.

  • yes doc neeson a amazing allright ...

  • Doc owned the stage.

  • this is seriously an amazing song...

  • a song i love from The Angels over a lot recorded in a live version for translation...

  • une de mes préférées, rarement entendue en live, merci Onedayillgeteven

  • @zametttttttttt Can you interpret into english? lol....
