  • GLARE!!!

  • If you have projectors you dont have to worry about Blinding ppl

Its only if you have Reflector headlights .

  • yeah thats too blue for me makes the car look even cheaper

  • May I ask. Are your bulbs still holding up. Have they ever gave you any problems?? I just put a kit on my car. U hope it lasts fir a kong time. I have video on my page.CHECK IT OUT!

  • i also have dark blue shade hid i installed in my bike honda cd-70

  • 8k dont look that blue in real life.

  • Wait you can get a freaking ticket for HID's?????????????

  • @Emil1787 yep, sucks huh? cops say that you're putting other drivers at risk by BLINDING them with lights that are much brighter than the normal halogen lights most cars come stock with. That being said, i Fully intend to get some 10,000 K low beams. I figure you can avoid the popo if you just aim the headlights down a little more. Focus the beam more so on the road than in drivers' eyes and rearview mirrors.

  • @Jerzen do you know by any chance how much is a ticket for HID's? because i know that for tints you get 175$. I got it twice, decided to take them down. Fucking NYC man. Right now those Low Life so cold COP's doing not a cop work, but an IRS work and our freaking stupid ass mayor hired 5000 more of those waking basters to give out tickets for NO reason. This is why i'm asking how much is a ticket for HID's hope you didn't get any but still would be nice knowing in advance.

  • pretty lights!

  • id rather my car not look like a toy so its 4300 or 5k for me. Oh wait it comes stock like that so i know im not blinding drivers with HID bulbs in a halogen headlight housing

  • @paintballgundown8 Cool, you're probably better than everyone.

  • those look brighter than 8k

  • Hey, this may seem like a silly question, but could you tell me how you changed the headlight bulbs? Did you have to pull the whole headlights out, or did you just pull the bulbs right out? Thanks man.

  • look at my 10k hids

  • @taylorc19 these are 8k..the 10k are purple and my friend has the 6k and those are baby blue

  • @bAdPoPPiN1 Is all depends on the seller. 10K is blue for some, 12K is blue for some while some sellers have 12K as purple. I had an 8K kit with bulbs that were 10K for other sellers. It all varies.

  • @Mr2002MustangGT oh shit really?? I did not know that, all i know is that my friend has some 6K and there baby blue

  • @bAdPoPPiN1 For the most part almost all HID sellers have 6k as white, with a tad bit of blue. The blue is even more noticeable if the car has projectors.

  • 55w or 35w? Where did you get them? I just ordered a pair of 35w 8k's from ddm.

  • do you have high beams with yours? i just got some but im afraid to see if the high beams work or not...my highs and lows are the same buld

  • How did you install the HID kit on Altima? Please put the instruction on the web.

  • @parirash forums. nicoclub . com/how-to-install-hid-s- through-the-wheel-well-diy-w-pics-t293744-120 . html

  • @LphiESteve , Hi, Is there a way you can giude me on how to install this kit on 09 Nissan Altima. I just need to know how to open the headlight. Thanks a lot.

  • the brightest is 30,000k deep blue or pink

  • I want the brightest of the brightests

can someone tell me which HID kit is the brightest HID kit out there????

  • @M0NL94 50watt 4300k is very bright white.

  • That could blind someone...

  • what brand is your HID's?

  • the greater kelvin number means what? the brightness of the light or what?

  • the color

  • what color it is fucker know your biology

  • @abhele16 for your information, the colour he's got on his Altima is blue, so im assuming his HID's are between 7 - 8000K. And i am not a biologist, im just an avid tuner kid trying to build up my ride.

  • Kelvin measures heat, not brightness. The hotter the K, the more blue the light becomes. Remember that the hottest fires burn blue. K measures the temperature of the light. 3000K and below is hyper yellow, 3000k-6000K is hyper white, 6000k -12000K is arctic blue/hyper blue, and 12000K - 15000K is purple. But anything above 8000K is useless because it has no usable light, and remember most HID's over 6000 are illegal in almost all the states.

  • @FL1P51D3 ,, awesome dude, that was pretty helpful!

    thanks!

  • @georgibubu

it actually means the color of the light. The higher the number, less visible light output. So for the brightest light, go for 5K. Best balance of color/brightness, 6K.

  • hmm i was wondering if you ever got a ticket for these lights

  • no not yet but i just changed my hids one of my ballast went out and wouldnt turn on so I got a new kit and even downgraded from 8k to 6k due to blinding drivers dont want to blind the wrong cop if you know what i mean

  • @pinchepocho626 6k isnt downgrading. 6k puts out more light than the 8k. the higher the number the darker it gets thats why they get purple the higher you go.

  • @mrxxbeaverxx You would in the UK and invalidate your insurance! The car is towed away and you are fined and given 6 points on your licence. We also have an annual car test and HID in reflector headlights fail. Same for projectors unless you fit self levelling and high pressure washers. Better to stick with 4300k

  • Nice job putting HIDs into a reflector housing. Blue ones, no less. It must suck driving in front of you...

  • 1: 8000K or 10,000K has nothing to do with brightness. It's the color. The brightest and the most light on the road would be 4300K, the only color that every OEM luxury car uses.

2: None of the aftermarket kits are legal. None. No matter the color or brightness.

  • hey man, what brand are those? i'm looking for nice 8ks

  • damn those are some insane 8k's man, what brand? i have some 8k's, but they look like 6k's, i have them on projectors too. i just ordered some 30000k's tho

  • To prove what I said, look at his driving video, notice how the road isn't close to blue, its white. The front angle shots always have excessive blueness to them

  • Most of you people are retarded. Camera's pick up most of the blue color from the headlights. My 8000k's are bright white with a slight hint of blue, yet in my videos show them as if they are 10's. Videos don't do justice at all. Not to mention all Hid kits have different color. If anyone needs HID help lemme know

  • yo nissan, u seem to be the only on here who seems to somewhat know what they are talking about... im thinking of getting the apexcone 55w kit and im just debating weather to get 10000k or 8000k, i want a slight hint of blue on the road which means from the drivers perspective when im driving... now i heard the the 55w bleed out a lot of the color and that the 55w 8000k's look comparible to the 35w 5000k and i dont want straight white, let me know what you think...!

  • To be honest, I'm not too fond of the 55W HID kits. Ive installed about 5 on my friends vehicles but they all are 35W. Another thing is all Hid kits have different color output. One kit that is 8000k may have more "aqua blue" color than another Hid kit which will have a more whitish color. It all differs. If what you say is true about the 55w kits bein more on the white side, Id bet 10,000 K is the way to go. Lemme know if you have anymore questions =]

  • well like you said about this guys driving video, he has 55w 8000k's and his driving video looks pure white on the road from the drivers perspective... but im worried that ill lose too much light output going to 10000ks , thanks for the response

  • Ehh The light output is barely noticeable considering you want the 10's. And no problem. Glad to help

  • so you mean that i wont lose too much light going from 8's to 10's with 55w?

  • You will lose light output. But if you want that blue color you will not be disappointed. Id say go with the 10,000

  • Yea, i'm look for an hid kit for my car what do u think about apexcone hid kit's?

  • I've heard they're nice but no experience myself. Stay away from ebay cheapo kits. They will last a month or two and go out

  • @NissanZ32TwinTurbo from someone who has no experience that is a silly thing to say! Most kits are made in China and exported, companies label them up and charge 5 times the trade price. There are only 2 or 3 different designs, but various prices and styles. Why pay more than you need to for the same product.

  • @pilot339 get them from diode dynamics

  • Looks good man i like it :)

  • where did u buy them at

  • Hey man that looks hot, I have the same car in black and want the same lights is it true its very difficult to do this in these cars? Someone recommended me to install the d2r bulb that they are white enough what do you think thanks.

  • I have a 07 altima pearl white with 6000k hids just click my name its my profile pic. And to answer ur question yes it is hard on the driver side because everything is packed in so tight I had to take out my battery and move over the fuse box. d2r bulb haven't heard of it. Look on ebay u can get em' for around 50$ mine have worked fine for bout a year and LOVE them hi's and low's !!!!

  • d2r and ds2 light bulbs are for cars that came with hids in them oem ie hid projectors.

  • hey, how you get out the units ligths?

  • the light bulb inside the housing?

  • no, I mean the headlamps

  • nice, i wanna get some of these on my bike

  • there is not 8000k ..

    there is 10 000 k bro

  • are you trying to say that hids dont come in 8k

  • ... please

Know what you're talking about before you comment.

H.I.D's range in temperature from 4000k to 10000k.

  • my big bro has the same

  • way way to blue

good luck with those, all you will be doing is blinding people because there not aimed right.

    those look like 10k.

anything more then6-8k is overkill and less light then halogens,

12k is just stupid, theres hardly any light output from them.

  • are they illegal just wana find out before i get some on my 02 celica

  • Yes! they are if they would have a dot# stamped on them that would be the only way to be legal from what i know

  • @antonyM2007 They are not illgeal long as tehy have DOT stamped and it best recommand get at least 8k or lower.

  • You sure those are 8k? thats blue as crap to be 8000 but every seller is different. They look real good

  • how much would those cost? and what brand?

  • r those legal?? :-)

  • there too blue..i doubt they are

  • Do they take a few seconds to warm-up to their full color or was the camera just readjusting to the light?

  • they take a few seconds

  • What all do you need to get HID lights for the 07 altima, i just bought one...I'm lost

  • they look like mine and i have the 12,000k ones

  • What company is that?? They look really nice

  • what is the brand of the HID kit you used on your alti?

  • best HID clip so far

  • Its funny, they are brighter than 6k, yet they dont shine as much light

  • really cool!

  • Very nice

  • dam!!it like it woke up anger!!!that hot

  • What type of ballast bulb you got installed? H3?

  • If you have a car manual it tells you everything.

  • i was like woooo ,asome!!!
