@nilo2209 you can definitely do that on a non fixie. riding backwards is easy on any bike i can think of. and other bikes have brakes, so the wheelie 540 would be pretty easy as well. "so who is stupid?" hahaha

@sonyskunk92 riding backwards on a non fixie you will slow down pretty fast. On a fixie you can go on and on straight backwards or in circles, which is great fun. If the "540 wheelie" is so easy on a freewheel bike, let's see you post a video where you pull it off. Brakes are not the same as backwards momentum.

I just switched my bike over to fixed gear tonight, sadly not to do tricks like this. This was quite nice to watch though when i was trying to explain to someone what a fixed gear is. Good video.

*Toe Clips, its the name of game, it helps so much to have tow clips to get a well controlled skid.

Your ride will become much more efficient this way.

Look at the way other riders skid there is a marriage between upper and lower body balance.

Practice on wet surfaces, at the same time learn how to take a proper fall.

If you can't then your center of gravity is too far back over your rear wheel. Your center of gravity is mostly your pelvis, so push your pelvis out toward your bars and lock your bottom leg (keep it straight like it is at the bottom of your pedal-stroke) and it will try to come up but you will stop it, and your back tire.
