i dont think so locks r also useful against multiple attackers all u have to do is dodge and block and weapons bt stil its very useful to grab against 1 v 1 thanx master wong to showing this all techs
@gGanGs7a. Wow, a year after the fact you want to troll?
And way to miss the point of most of my comment, I said it's no good using UFC style in a multiple attacker scenario, going to ground fight in the street, you screw up yourself as well as the other guy, but his friends will beat the crap out of you while your down, you need to learn locks, enters, and take downs ( and breaks if they cant take a hint) to get out of situation, ground fighting just doesn't work with multiple attackers (whic
for every movement you watch and learn and being taught you coquer all that you been practising and then you make it your own movements you feel comfortable with to over come all barries and obscules and you no you can conquer your fears,
it seems to me (in my opinion) that theres no poing grabbing in wing chun coz theres very little if any-iron grip training so the grip will not be strong as it will not have been trained correctly as opposed to the likes of eagle-clwaw and
tiger- claw both of which specialise in equpment and exercised for imense grip stength which can rip muscles/ tendons and crush bone
I already have contacted him and awaiting his reply..i'm just expecting him to laugh it off anyway! But i am sure deep inside Master Wong will go away and think about my comment, and take it on board! Peace!
UFC is overrated, it's whole concept is based on 1 V's 1, and go to ground as quick as you can, doesn't work in a street encounter (cause you will mess up your legs if you need to run, not to mention physically in later life) nor multiple attackers (your going to get messed up while your tackling the first guy).
