would you fill a cake with this? or frost it? how would you make peanut butter cream cheese frosting? what is the difference between frosting and icing? and how do you know when to use either one... sorry for all the questions? but i thank you in advance
@nickyejay09 add peanut butter to it :) you can fill a cake with this and frost it but it might be better if you used as regular frosting. you can use either frosting or icing.
@themoneyking45 I think you might be looking for buttercream frosting. It is stiffer and you can use it decorating all kinds of cakes. Thanks for coming by!
I really like the way you talk! So entertaining :) Just one question: how long will the frosting stay in the fridge, in case I can't use up all of it?
@lazyzebra123 Awesome! I am happy this works for you. Weird how sometimes we get reminded of people when we someone! I am sure your aunt Thitsa rocks ;) Thanks for coming by!
@purplerose159 I guess it depends what you are making. For salad dressings, for example, possibly. For things like pancakes not really. Great question! Have a fantastic day!
@awesomestcrystal What kind of frosting are you using? Is is dairy based? If so, are you letting it sit out of the fridge for too long? Thanks for coming by!
thank you very much for your recipe n this video... I tried the recipe today and it came out perfectly .... the ingredients are simple n easy to find... it's really tasty and suit my taste... I know I dont hv to look for other recipe...thanks again
@mari5e1a0 I think you will like this if you give it a try. You can buy colorless vanilla in some places in the US. However, the color is a question of preference I think. Thank you very much for coming by! Have a great weekend!
@tleustaquio DUDE! I have so had that problem before and it was driving me insane! I was making rice pudding, and finally realised it was the vanilla essence I was using! Make sure you buy top quality vanilla, otherwise there is a good chance it will leave a little soapy taste...
@irafrancisca23o7 You could try making this with a whisk but you will need to whisk really hard. Not impossible but quite a chore! Thanks for coming by! Oh, and yes, it is called a hand mixer.
@RequiemSoup If you don't use confectioners sugar your frosting will have sugar granules in it. Try processing the sugar until it is really fine. That should work. Thanks for coming by!
Im starting now to bake carrot cake^_^thank you so much i take a picture while i making it and going to make a video so you will see.Still going to find this confectioners sugar^_^while waiting for my carrot cake done.....
Love this cream cheese frosting recipe ! Cream cheese here in Ontario has gone thru the roof price wise...$3.79 a pkg.....is that crazy or what ? My cheesecake recipe takes 4 blocks of cream cheese !!! Almost $16 just for the cheese !! Lucky you with the low cost cream cheese I would be in heaven !!! Will definately make this when cream cheese goes on sale - which isnt often. All the best !
@mukwah1111 That is absolutely nuts! Wow! It would probably be cheaper to order it online from the US! Thank so much for coming by! I appreciate your support - a lot!
@pastryparrot1 I know ! Crazy huh ! We have just as many cows as you do ! That produce milk ! Dairy here is probably double what it is in the states ....how can this be ? Nuts !!! MOOOOOOOOOO You are always a treat ! Have a wonderful wknd !!!
@fezan84 me too . . . it is so hard to keep away from it! My dog is crazy! You should see him jump up - so very high - when he smells something he wants to eat! Funny, funny stuff.

How come my frosting is yellow-ish? why is the one at cinnabon's white? =\
xKJx25 6 months ago
@xKJx25 I have no idea how Cinnabon makes their frosting white. This acquires the yellow from the butter. Have a great day.
