And you actually saw this yourself? I watch Maddow daily (O'Reilly as well, if you're wondering), and I never saw her 'giggling away' what you refer to as 'sexist attacks'.
And Palin wasn't attacked for being a woman. She was attacked for being a freaking idiot. And that's coming from a registered republican.
@nrthdude1 oh I see. you're one of those who apparently believe that any criticism of a woman at all is "sexist". Oh yes, how "gutless" of Maddow for not calling them out for you know, god forbid, criticising a woman, not to mention women who are public servants and happen to have massive power and influence. Get fucking real. What interest is it for Maddow anyway to serve and protect Sarah Palin especially? Just because they're both women? How stupid and backwards...
The controversial George W. Bush-sponsored poll in South Carolina mentioned John McCain's role in the so-called Keating Five scandal, and McCain says his involvement in the scandal "will probably be on my tombstone." What exactly did McCain do?
In early 1987, at the beginning of his first Senate term, McCain attended two meetings with federal banking regulators to discuss an investigation into Lincoln Savings and Loan, an Irvine, Calif., thrift owned by Arizona developer Charles Keating.
First off, no one sees fit to comment on 2:30-5:55, hopefully because we're all in agreement about it. That is why this is on my Favs list because on occasion, Matthews will put it all together and say what we all know, and what those who don't know should realize.
Second, he lets something slip with the 'far out whackjobs line' at 6:20. That's when it sort of hits him... 'wow, he is one of them!' He can't bring himself to say it, but Maddow planted the seed. That's why I enjoy her work.
Excellent video segment, especially when Rachel tries to highlight McCain's founding membership in the "Next up, Baghdad!", including his comments on Matthews' own show, and Matthews dissembles to a ridiculous degree and then defends McCain for the remainder of the segment.
And people wonder how this election can still be close.

Definition of community organizing: To be successful at the job, one need not produce a single, positive result. One need not perform a single objective task for the community at large. One need not produce one shred of real change or reform, nor a single act of charity. In fact, the only thing one need do to proclaim success, is to leave people more angry and demanding of a government fix-it-all than they were before the organizer arrived in the midst of their community.
gee what a fair and balanced show.. :)

Maddow is disgraceful.
I was amazed as she giggled away at Keith Olberman & Chris Matthews' constant sexist attacks on Hillary Clinton.
I mean she said absolutely nothing during all of it.
I have no respect for her, and a lot of my friends were appalled by her continued silence when Palin was attacked.
She's a self-serving, gutless joke.
