Yes, very good! I use a slightly different technique that relies more on the shoulder & arm movement, thereby saving the wrist a lot of aggravation. You get more sound that way with very little effort regardless of whether you're ringing one bell or three. Think of the clapper as a car passenger without a seatbelt when the car suddenly stops. Any unneccesary motion that can be cut out benefits the joint health of the ringer.

I've tried it, not very successfully. It's actually harder on the shoulders than on the wrist. They ARE good though, aren't they?
