@jdollinter : I'd say yes, but it is said to have been recorded in November of 1958. The "release" date is normally 2-3 months after a studio recording has been made.
If Wiki has it right and Janet was 37 when she died in 1980, that means she was 15 when she sang on this song in 1958?! Is that correct, or does Wiki (and every other source for her age in 1980 - 37 years old) have it wrong?
@shockthevoiceguy : I guess that would put Janet's birthdate somewhere in 1943 and so, she would've been 15 years old in 1958, however, by looking at the pictures of the group in 1958 or 1959, she looked much older than that. As for Wikipedia, I don't believe too much that they come up with, but, that's probably just me.
I had to replay just to see the baggy suit Dick Clark was wearing while interviewing the group. (lol) Seriously though, an absolute classic! A full orchestra backing track was not very common on rock/pop tunes of that era. But his track still sounds so good today! a theme anyone of any age can relate to.
Es una de las baladas románticas mas "ADOC" de la época de los 50'60's y de las que se guardan recuerdos escolares imborrables...
