Who on earth wants to be in Afganistan in 53-55 Celcius temperatures..., he probably wanted to go fishing(On the Pacific) and take a, not so early retirement, good show my man. I see a great retirement for McChristal, maybe a tour of Europe, and a sunny beach with nothing but clear skies and some of those lovely pinacoladas. I'd suggest Wreck Beach in B.C. Canada, it's the best. Write your memoirs a little ahead of schedual and take it easy, the rat race is over, make a few kids,have a few beers
