  • I had a 1985 Nissan Sentra that looked just like this. It was a decent car but had a lot of problems with the a/c and it was terribly slow.

  • I bought a brand new red MPG version in 1982 for $5250. It got 48 mpg on avg for me. manual transmission adn NO A/C. I kept it til 1989 and never had a single problem with it.

  • Wow.. things have changed.. Seems like 43 MPG was the best back in the day, AND it was a 4 cylinder car... WOW

  • Man, this was my first car. I seriously had to shut the a/c off to climb a hill in the thing, but I do remember the gas mileage being unbelieveable. $5 bucks would take care of me for a week.

  • do you still have it?? and was your form 1982??

  • no, it's long gone now, but yes, it was a 1982 nissan\datsun sentra (it had both the nissan and datsun badges on the car during datsun's transition to nissan) and mine was an ocean blue color. It was ugly as sin with lots of rust. The sheet metal was so thin on the car that if you leaned on the door it would crumple in then it would pop back out.

  • did you like it??? did you buy it used??? it reminds me i just got a 1980 Toyota tercel its faded banana yellow i love it iam gonna restore it

  • Pfft, good luck ever getting 58 mpg on the highway with that thing..

  • @Infinitrium IT says 58 in the city, 43 on highway.
