Brian Carn is a Benny Hinn and "Prophet" Jordan follower, he's a part of the charismatic movement, he IS NOT MAINSTREAM PENTECOSTAL, nor is he ONENESS PENTECOSTAL even though this is a oneness Pentecostal Church. How ON EARTH he ended up preaching at an Apostolic Oneness Church I have no clue. Does that scare me personally? Absolutely. Does it REALLY surprise me? Sadly, no. He still is somewhat involved with the organization, even though he is no longer affiliated with them. COGIC is trinitarian in doctrine not oneness (even though there have always been rumors that a small minority of COGIC preachers "secretly" baptize in Jesus Name). As for Brian Carn, he is a proud trinitarian.

The text in Acts 2:13 shows that "Some" were mocking the saints as this was only THEIR naive perception of the events,Peter then corrects them. How anyone surmises that you can act in any manner based on this ONE LINE is well beyond me as scriptures do not support this belief. Does this act present the gospel?

Why are you keep making a point about Peter speaking in tongues for a different nation. When I speak about them speaking in tongues in vs 4..I am speaking spirtual tongues. I grew up in a Pentecostal environment for most of my life and believed in every bit of it's doctrine as I never really studied the scriptures myself but excepted the majority of what I was told from the pulpit. Bible study was never really emphasized as much as praise and worship and tarrying services. We learned more on pursuing the gifts of the spirit than the actual purpose of those spiritual gifts.

I am going to break down Acts 2:4 again. And they were all filled w/the Holy Ghost, and began to speak w/other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance. This had nothing to do w/preaching the gospel to another nation. It is clearly stating that when the spirit came on them, they spoke in tongues as the spirit gave the utterance. Peter and the other 11 was not even preaching during this time. He did not start preaching till vs 14. Read Matthew Henry on this. Look up the word utterance

As an Apostle a servant of God and being a young man. I have grown up in the church i have both heard and seen alot of things. most of what i seen and heard is not bibical but many trying to be aslike a god instead of serving the only wise god. i have seen many false prophets do an say that which isnt written the lord will deal with them. this service i can say the anointing was there and also there was an act of the flesh emotion stepped in.the lord isnt pleased.

The text in Acts 2:13 shows that "Some" were mocking the saints as this was only THEIR naive perception of the events,Peter then corrects them. What meaneth this? They was wondering why are people speaking in different languages. Then Peter stood up and let them know what was going on. God set it up where it was no coincident that Peter stood up and spoke Acts 1:15, 2:14 that lead to his sermon. Then he gave the way to be saved in 2:38. The problem you have in the world today is...nobody want to break down Ephesians 4:5 One Lord, one Faith, one baptism. That mean only One Lord, One way to be saved and One way to be baptized. Why are you keep making a point about Peter speaking in tongues for a different nation. When I speak about them speaking in tongues in vs 4..I am speaking spirtual tongues. I say again...the bible lets us know when the Holy Ghost filled them...they spoke in tongues as the spirit gave the utterance. God control you dialect then. Peter was among the 120 that were filled. The text from vrs 4 shows that it was a language being spoken as those outside heard the noise and then heard each others tongue within the same sentence and context.

I grew up in a Pentecostal environment for most of my life and believed in every bit of it's doctrine as I never really studied the scriptures myself but excepted the majority of what I was told from the pulpit. Bible study was never really emphasized as much as praise and worship and tarrying services. We learned more on pursuing the gifts of the spirit than the actual purpose of those spiritual gifts.

cont..God's presence by the noise levels in a service, by what we feel whether emotionally or sometimes physically. Worship or Worth-ship is an act that proclaims the truth of Jesus Christ within our daily lives and not just in a praise session in church for an hour. I've seen too many who speak in tongues, claim they have the spirit but their actions outside of the church are so far from God. So no brother I fail to see how tongues are evidence when the real evidence should be our lives daily.

I like you had no knowledge of the original Greek texts and there meanings, I would argue my standpoint on certain doctrines from a heart point and not from head knowledge. I didn't know the history of Pentecostalism, never knew anything about the Reformation and couldn't be bothered to even fully understand what I believe and why I believed it. My thirst for true biblical truth only came when I left Pentecostalism over 5 years ago and listened to teachers such as R C Sproul and John Macarthur

cont..real spiritual battles are won. Doctrine is the foundation of anyones belief and when one has the wrong doctrine they will have the wrong belief system.
My point in this discussion is to clearly highlight the wrong doctrine that is exhibited within this video as no scripture backs up this behaviour, it's a fallacy that is perpetuated by bad teaching within the Pentecostal Movement and as stated it relegates the real purpose of the Holy Spirit to some kind of free for all side show.

So no CFinn I do not need to pursue something that was already given to me when I accepted Jesus Christ as MY Lord and Saviour. What I need to do is continue in the faith that was in trusted to me and fight the good fight not by my own strength but solely by the one who strengthens me. You still didn't highlight any teachings what so ever from the MHC that concur with any of your points, and maybe one day you'll be brave enough to deal with your obvious fear of the word "GLOSSA" which clearly dismissed your belief in the "infilling tongues". I agree w/ you on that Sackbwoy, you'll always have hypocrites but don't let that stop you from doing what you got to do. O..I agree that some peoples claim to speak in tongues and a devil outside of church. But still brother...there are a lot of peoples that is really trying to live for the Lord.

Just pray for me then brother and I'll do the same. As I have explained several times, Paul is the one who said it was for a sign. I Cor 14:22. Kinda of hard to see how Paul could teach against it and he said he speaks in tongues more than them all. (Cor church) I Cor 14:18 I believe in the KJV. Calling On Jesus w/all your heart can never be a bad thing. Like I said earlier, if a person has Godly sorrow repented and believe, the Holy Ghost will come, and you will speak in tongues as the spirit

I have the Holy Ghost and speaks in tongues as the spirit gives the utterance. But..it was a time in my life when I wanted to ignore the tongues, and just believe in the repentance. But O...when I Godly sorrow repented of my sins and called on Jesus name. O..He took control of my mouth and I started uttering. If a person thirst he will be filled with the truth. Matt 5:6. O..He will send someone your way w/the truth.

Does not the bible say that the 120 were filled w/the Holy Ghost? Did not they speak in tongues as the spirit gave the utterance? Did they not know they received it by speaking in tongues? Did not the bible say that Philip had the Holy Ghost w/ the other 6 chosen deacons? See..that is what I mean by rightly dividing. The bible is clearly making a point by associating the Holy Ghost with speaking in tongues as the spirit gives the utterance. Pray and the Lord will reveal it.

I am going to break down Acts 2:4 again. And they were all filled w/the Holy Ghost, and began to speak w/other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance. This had nothing to do w/preaching the gospel to another nation. It is clearly stating that when the spirit came on them, they spoke in tongues as the spirit gave the utterance. Peter and the other 11 was not even preaching during this time. He did not start preaching till vs 14. Read Matthew Henry on this. Look up the word utterance

Acts 2:11 Explain how the non Jewish foreigners understood and heard the wonders of God, which was the proclaiming of God's mighty works. which is THE GOSPEL AND SALVATION in their own NATIVE LANGUAGE OR TONGUE????? I quoted you several quotes from the MHC so not too sure how you failed to see what the purpose of tongues are as yet again you read the bible and MHC and then bypass the facts and jump straight for your own interpretation. How can you not see that tongues are foreign languages??
