Saludos da Baviera a Puerto Rico!

  • Congratulations, is the substitute of the Michelangelo buonarroti.(brasil)

  • Thanks, :)

I'm a big admirer of his work, and of course he's the Master, but I'd really like to sculpt the Tickling Lady some day in Carrara marble in full life-size.

  • Being a sketch/painter (artist) and being new to clay sculpting, this video by far has been the most helpful that I have viewed! Thanks. You are awesome.

  • Thanks for your kind comment, Sharon. :)

Glad my video was bit helpful. Just keep on practicing and experimenting, the results will come with your improved skills... Good luck!

I'm still learning myself, BTW. ;)

  • sohat einer dem Willen mich von meiner dauer einsamkeit zu retten

  • i like this video! I like your work! everything! how do you make this perfect? i want to learn a lot of things, i want to be a good artist like you in the future. please tell me

  • Thanks for your compliment, glad you like my work. :)

As for becoming a good artist: practise, practise, practise.Try to draw and to sketch as much and often as possible to train your eye. If you're not happy with the result, try again. Look at the work of the masters for inspiration. And - most important - love what you're doing.

    Good luck!

  • thank you sir. i really love what i am doing. i hope that i will become a good artist like you in the future. i will practice everyday. thanks a lot

  • magnificant ur a better artist than me i make pottery with my dad! Really good model.

  • Thanks, Franco, glad you like it.

I will forward your compliment to the model, she's even more beautiful. :)

  • you don't know what went through my head when you were making those boobs.

    but this is awesome.

  • Thanks, and to be honest, I enjoyed it making them :)

  • You may think you have a long way to go, but in my opinion, you are already there! Excellent work!

  • Well, am not quite sure if you're right, but nevertheless, thanks again. Glad you like my work. :)

  • Fantastic! What a gifted artist you are!

  • Thanks for your kind comment. Highly appreciated. Still I have a long way to go, though, till I'm as good as Michelangelo. :)

  • Beautiful!!

  • nice video. I hadn't known until now that sculptures use skeleton re-inforcements inside.

  • Thanks for your interest, Kirants. Wet clay doesn't have enough stability to keep the form without armature. Usually it's done first, before starting, but in this case I wanted to test out the position of her upper body first. Am sure you can appreciate all the anatomical details after your experience with your own composition. :D

  • Wow that is amazing. That had to take alot of time to do. Just incredible

  • Thanks, Maryanne, glad you like it. I didn't stop the time, but I guess I had to work at least 10 days on it, most time on the details of course, and it's not finished yet. But sculpting it in marble in full life-size will take a lot longer. ;-)
