In it's day, this was hilarious! Today, it is a classic. Wish Television continued this creativity. I used to laugh in those days. Now I just find things amusing...
These sketches never get old...I remember seeing this in college over 35 years ago, and they are just as funny now as the original viewing. No one will ever match the Pythons.
See the humorous but true story, of a Monty Python-like "Arthur '2 sheds' Jackson" owner, who has had a Council "Show Cause" notice served on him for building an invisible shed, at:

Wonderful.I grew up in London and when we went to the coast I remember the deck chair attendent. This sketch is just so bloody funny.I love Python.British comedy at its best.
monty python are legends, i urge everyone to watch either the holy grail or the life of brian, two hillarious movies. sorry for my spelling if theres any mistakes, had a few beers tonight :P
AAAAHHH!!! I CAN'T STOP LAUGHING!!! OMG! I swear to god I saw: "It's a man's life taking your clothes off in public" underwear poster add in New Jersey!
in school, i showed this to my pals ---who have absolutely no idea of english homour--- and they loved it. every single of them. pythons are marvelous.
Unfortunately, imagination doesn't seem to exist in todays comedy. Well, no, thats a bit harsh. Perhaps what i mean is that it has gone in a direction that is too influenced by pop culture.
Actually the FFC no longer allows it in the US. Any show that is original or imaginative gets canceled before most people even see them. They cancel the good shows and put shit in their place to keep the competition scale low and keep hack humor on top in this country. At least that's what's happening in the US.
Don't mean to be rude, I would just like to point out it's FCC not FFC. It's alright though, I thought one sign said Phillips 99 instead of Phillips 66
@hihihippl Yeah I do (but besides FOTC and Curb Your Enthusiasm and Extras everything is shock value crap) but I'm talking more along the lines of Arrested Development.
@hihihippl I LOVE it. And I'm pissed at FOX and the American machine of anti-free thought for taking it off (not promoting it). I'm going to get a little off topic, now:
Speaking of censorship I'm watching a Smothers Brothers documentary and if any American fans of MPFC think America only had crappy shows contemporary to MPFC they should check out the political commentary of the late 60s TV show The Smothers Brothers. Unbelievable. I didn't know American TV had such a rich free thought history.
i love this sketch. he starts out so prudish and trapped by social conventions, but in the end he transcends his fears and insecurities and turns his troubles into something creative. a great message for us all. plus it's funny
Monty Python is the reason I'm proud to be British. Before I go into them, I desperately wanted to be American or Australian. You USA-ies and Aussies have brilliant accents!
This is one of my favourite sketches. I cheered when he finally got his clothes off! Does this remind you of Mr Bean, when he's trying to put on his trunks but there's a man watching him who ends up being blind?
which one is it where Graham Chapman is giving a speech while undressing in the same way as this guy? I saw it once in the same episode as this sketch and I almost died laughing.
that was the most unsexy thing i ever saw hehe. god bless the pythons. wait...what happens when he wants to get dressed again? and why oh why was he so desperate to get nakes anyway?!?!?!?!? XD

@NeptuneMS385 Most of the wordless ones are written by and starring Terry J - 'silent' comedy and mime are his strongest points. :)
