No, you're right - it is a Christian song. The focus of the song is meant to show how the cares of this life which are only temporary - money, clothes, houses, cars, earthly treasures - mean nothing without Christ being in the center. Now, granted, the song doesn't mention Jesus Christ but the emphasis is geared towards Him. You can have all of these earthly possessions and stored up riches and have an empty life.
