I like it however, That blinking light would drive me crazy. How about a light that starts blinking for 30 seconds or so just to let you know your recording and then stops.
@72kiteboarder The light appears far brighter indoors than outside in the sun, plus it is above the eye so it is more peripheral vision. The light may be more of an issue for you at night, but you can always tone it down with a marker, a sticker, tape, etc. I have not personally tested this model at night, however I have used our Scuba camera on night dives and cave dives and I was only distracted by the light a little, not enough to change it.
@WiiAreSIN This is a good thing. It will make both companies stretch themselves and constantly increase their performance and capabilities. I like that this one is true point of view and doesn't need something to mount to. I'd like to see a 3d option come up in the future.
