The R8 GT still kinda upsets me because when iread that there was gonna be a Audi R8 rival 4 the 911 GT3...........i was expectin a V8 RWD car that looked like the LMS. the LMS is amazing

Also, I have to say, the R8's consistency really payed off at Spa 24 this year. Even if other cars were a bit faster, this thing just kept going when everyone else wiped out (though I bet team NFS would have won if they qualified higher)

Why not throw in the Gallardo/GT3 for good measure? Since it's on the same platform as the Audi R8 and they both have the same AWD/RWD setup.

I like the R8 but this GT is priced a little to close to say the 458 and Gallardo LP560 Spyder, both of which I'd happily take over the GT.

@AlumarsX You were talking generally about AWD, not specifically about the R8, but it enhances the R8 and any Audi because it can be driven all year in any climate. It also increases dry pavement grip so that it can launch faster, and get on the power earlier coming out of turns overall making it faster around a track or on the street. But it is still tuned to have slight oversteer so you can still whip the tail out once and awhile if you want to hoon. Oh and I have driven in SCCA rallycross BTW

In Australia, if you purchased the LMS you would have to tow it on the back of a truck to the racetrack. But what a rush it would be to drive that baby on the streets!!!!!!!!!!!
