I've listened to a lot of artists in my time. You pick them up and then you put them down, but for whatever reason you cannot put H.I.M. and Ville Valo down. He's got charisma, that's a given... but Ville goes beyond just charisma. At times he's almost hypnotic. Whatever, I like it!

@amandakruse75 I agree with some of the things you said but let me explain you some things you got wrong.ville is a baritone,not because of smoking,he was a baritone even back in 1996 when he was about 18 r sth.plus,about the lyrics thing,just read(don't listen the songs,just check out)the lyrics of songs like love's requiem,sleepwalking past hope,the foreboding sense of impending happiness,or the path.ville writes both the music and the lyrics of all the songs and his influences are brilliant.
