Yes the Marauder are hard to find. Check criaglist or other sometimes you can get lucky. I bought this guitar in 1987. Cheers

i have a rp1000 but i sure dont have a marauder cant say i've even seen one in the flesh,is it very rare or are there lots of them in europe....

There are a few Gibson Marauder in Europe. Many hard core bands used the Marauder. It packs quite a punch. Ut not sure I think Fastway and the UFO used them aswell. Stay loud If you have a chance please post a vid with the RP1000.

Right on Brother, Rock my face off . I have a 1984 Ibanez Roadstar II RS525. It a killer guitar for brutal metal mayhem. Tell me I just got a Jackson Flying V Japan from the early 2000. What passive pickup uou recommande for a killer sound. I got silly drunk with Mike Wead last summer in Sweden. LOL rock on mate

my V has the 496r & 500t & its got a really bright sound..

a passive pickup for a Kerry King jackson probaly a Seymour Duncan dimebucker or a Dimarzio super distortion but if it was mine it would be an ESP Active & i'd pretend to be Kai Hansen lol
