my Mitsubishi being a Mitsubishi is designed in such a way that the head sits higher than the radiator and has no air purge points at all so when i have to do a coolant change i have to fund a steep hill to park it on so the radiator becomes the highest point and lets the air out.
all Mitsubishi are like that tho, most things are done well but the odd thing isnt and that what makes them a shit car.
Wow..looking at that engine, it appears changing the spark plugs would be a nightmare. My chevy cavalier is the same way. It makes you wonder if they wanted you to pull the engine just to change the plugs!
My car has red coolant that lasts for a few years which is handy. I had a problem with the car squeeling and had it back to a main dealer 3 times. At first they said it was the brakes sticking on or stones stuck on the discs. Coolant kept dropping and next they said it was a head gasket after 20,000miles. It turned out that they had cross threaded the cap on the expansion tank (on a service), so when pressure built up steam come out! I found it when refilling with coolant.
"fucking plane, fuck of you bastard" :P quality

God I had the bleed bolt on the top of the thermostat snap its head off today!
Had to drill it slightly in order to then replace it with a bolt :P
Doesn't leak though :D
