Yes Russia has very nice airplanes, i would wish switzerland too would buy some Sukhois , Mil Helicopters and a few Il-76 but (like in columbia) politics woul prfere to buy American or EU aircrafts :-(. I think especaliy the Mil-24 would be useful in your country against criminals. here in switzerland i would wish we would have Su-30 or 37
just another copy, looks like they would spend there time and money on something of there own design it plain to c its a copy of the french intercon jet
@Conservativepacheat its not a copy its a own construction, made with a lot of calculation, windtuneltesting etc. it was comen for the west douring cold war to say everything is a copy (blame su-27 as F-15 copy, mig 29 as F18 copy, su-24 as F-111 copy and so one)
@Cougar2628 Yes , but Tupolew would use the Tu-144 for a Bomber version (a 4 Man Crew, a remot controllet tail gun (like the Tu-22M), with cruisemissiles. in the end the Tu-144 projekt lost against the Misachev project. But then the wining Michaev project was put under Tupolews OKB. and Materialised as Tu-160. so because of this the Tu-144 is also in this clip.

What plane was carrying the Buran external tank? That looked like it was at an airshow, and quite an impessive display at that!

Yes it was nice to se it in real at Maks 1997. Unbelivebal that the early Ukraine scrapt some of thes Aircrafts
