They didn't add new weapons they added skins for some they all do the same damage the melee weapons are all the same rang damage the only thing that's new is the skins and grenade launcher and infected

@heavyiscredittoteam Do comparisons, every melee weapon can hit a certain amount of zombies in one swing and do different amounts of damage, and for the snipers:

"The Sniper Rifle has the same rate of fire and damage per shot as the Hunting Rifle, but has a higher magazine capacity 30 rounds and a slightly longer by 0.25 second reload duration. (It is also slightly less accurate than the hunting rifle while moving.)" - From Left 4 Dead Wiki, which should show that the weapons aren't reskins.

It's obvious that every weapon has different stats, no matter how big or small the change is. Therefor, they are not reskins, and if they are, then with your logic, every weapon and character in every game ever made must be a reskin too.

@heavyiscredittoteam I own the game and have like about 50 hours or so on it, and when it comes to Melee weapons, what the hell do you expect? You're smacking something in the face with a hard object. Also, those tests posted on the wiki are judged on community tests, and no doubt people have opened up the games files and checked the damage values and so on. And way to bring insults into this like an immature teenager, really shows how mature ya are, mang.

I actually hate Left 4 Dead, it reuses too much content from Counter Strike Source and Half Life 2, uses too many free source sounds and textures. The replay value isn't that great and the game is far overpriced. I prefer Killing Floor and if you look at my Steam play time you'd see that I'm telling the truth.

Except "making a second one" draws players away from L4D1, restricts support even more and pretty much obliterates any hope for more official content on L4D1. So, this somewhat forces people to buy L4D2 if they want to stay with the community. I consider being upset about that genuine.
