I'm supporting Ron Paul and don't agree with Bernie Sanders on much, but I think Bernie Sanders truly cares about people and is one of the most genuine people in Congress.
Blitzer sounds like an ignorant 5 year old when talking about politics. He represents everything wrong with the MSM. Bernie, on the other hand, is one of a handful of congressmen who actually represent the voters.
We are constantly trying to come up with ways to fix mess after mess Congress and the President create.
They are creating financial catastrophes then shrugging their shoulders and telling us to come up with a plan to fix it, but they won't implement anything we want.
Bernie, I love you, but don't sell us short! Don't ask us to choose one of these two sides. We need to fire the lot and make some new amendments. Obama is just as much a corporate stooge as the GOPers. We have to be on the "side" of massive reform.
Bernie $600 a month isn't even enough with this monopoly money. I know a woman who has social security and she can barely afford to live in this tiny 1 bedroom apartment because after rent she has $100 left for the WHOLE MONTH to survive off of. Its sad its truly sad
Bernie Sanders is completely on message. When will US citizens wake up to the reality that the elite are working hard to take away our well-being? Money is being funneled into the war machine and the bankster's financial transcations and false debt creation. Wake up America! There is plenty of wealth in this land to provide for a good living on an equitable playing field. Don't let them take it from you!
Agree David, also add Jesse Ventura. What we have now-establishment cadidates have "sold us out" We also need to get rid of the Federal Reserve. They are bringing this country down on purpose.
Ron Paul, Bernie Sanders, Ralph Nader, Alan Grayson, Dennis Kucinich. These would all be worthy presidents. What we have now in the White House is not good enough, nor are the idiots running for the GOP like Cain, Romney, Bachmann, Gingrich, etc.
@davd1986 sanders is a socialist, paul is at the opposite end of the spectrum. sanders stands for welfare and taxing the rich, paul for the opposite. duh
@glasgowunicor Sure, but at least they are consistent in where they stand, and they sincerely are working towards bettering this country, not selling themselves to the big corporations. Sanders IS towards the government helping the people and Paul is not in favor of having government interfering into basic citizen rights. At the end of the day, we should be looking towards politicians that will represent "US" the PEOPLE, not the big corporations and Wall Street.
@davd1986 Ron Paul, Bernie Sanders, Ralph Nader, Alan Grayson, Dennis Kucinich. One of these things is not like the other. Oh yeah its Ron Paul who is a Right Winger and one of the GOP Idiots running for President.
I know you were just being nice to Obama here, Bernie. He isn't just being wishy washy; he is continuing Bush's policies and even had the nerve to tell liberals they were being unreasonable and are too far to the left. Of course people don't see a huge difference between the parties; the Democrats are mostly center-right and just as corrupt, although not as overtly vile and apathetic as the Repubs. There are just a handful of progressive liberals in Congress and that's precisely the problem.
@gatorhighlights4 You´ve simply been accustomed to a different definition of "center" it´s actually very right wing whereas the "liberals" are more like the old centre. But lukiely some of you woke up and realized that the republicans´re more like "extreme right" now. Over decades of slow accomodation the entire spectrum shifted...
Wolf Blitzer: "He (Obama) doesn't want to cut Social Security, he wants to make some changes".....semantic BS isn't going to cut it anymore Mr Blitzer..... Senator Sanders knows that a cut is a cut, and actually stands up for the vanishing middle class and the poor......Good for you Senator Bernie Sanders!

@freierz On that theme: Choosing between two rotten options in an election contradicts the idea of a governent of, by and for the people.

You want to pay down our Country's bills? How about collecting the rent to start with. Ever heard of the "Tax Gap"? It means this...
"The IRS has estimated the overall voluntary compliance rate to be approximately 84 percent.
Despite the voluntary compliance rate and vigorous enforcement by the IRS, a significant amount of revenue remains unreported and unpaid.
In 2005, the IRS estimated this gross tax gap to be approximately $345 billion."

$565 a year? With this highly INFLATED dollar that isn't EVEN worth HALF of what it was when I started saving? Sounds like a SCAM to me

Wolfs talk is why Obama is such a negative force for the democratic side. Anyone who doesn't want to cut social security is now a fringe person.
Everything that we liked about Obama 2008, he's made fringe by going to the right & bringing everyone else with him.
The constant "this or that", as though there's no other option, fuck you corporatist-prostitute Obama.
